Yeah Im really missing the unexplained visibility gains and losses. One second VFR severe clear then presto, instant IFR. Im actually enjoying it. Now I can actually see my expensive mesh and newly added landclass details.If the server stays down, I can always crank up my brightness from 1 to 10 and back as I fly. But seriously, I enjoy the unpredicatabilty and too lazy to change the weather myself so I hope they fix it.

Hi glad to see you are back. Im just ######in cause its hot. But yeah Ill be flying and suddenly the vis changes up. Sometimes Ill see the airport from 20 miles out and then just like clockwork, bam, vis changes to 3 miles or less. No biggie cause Im kinda getting use to it but when Im on a IFR flight plan and the controller assigns you a vfr runway, you never know what conditions to expect. So now I always ask for a runway with at least a localizer. Of course they always want you to circle to land on the runway they first assigned which gets old.

Anyways, I'm really glad your son is ok. Family is extremely important, my own son was in the hospital for 25 days when he was born, and he has a LOT of medical problems, always will have.
