hi JS i really havent had much time to use due to work, but i will on the weekend, but i must tell you, its the closest i have ever felt of being inside a Flight Deck and its probably the closest feeling i am going to get for a long time, it is just an amazing experience, the feeling of landing a heavy jet (777 VC) in 3D surround is an awesome experience and it feels i am sitting right there, also TRackIR 4 is also a great help !i just wish i can get my forth monitor working to put Squawkbox and the FMC on it then i will be 100% happy!

10-4, Clayton.Be patient and ask around. It takes time to do all this stuff and the temptation to rush is inexorable. I know it's all exciting though!I am going to get an additional monitor and TH2G after the New Year when I come back from my trip to London.By the way, have you had to amend your fs9.cfg file for a widescreen entry?JS

yes! i know i have to be patient but you know the feeling! no i didnt do anything in the cfg file, the Matrox SGU optimises the cfg automatically for you so you don't need to prod inside the cfg file, i will post pics of my actual set up on the weekend.

So, has this all been exclusively a hardware setup with no coding changes required?JS

Hey, Clayton:What is your max ZOOM factor in FS9 for this device ?Are you able to see the entire 777 panel and cockpit from one side to the other across your triple monitors?Do you have the Flight 1 View utility? It is fantastic and will help you see more, independently of the FS9 ZOOM factor. I have it and I can see my entire 744 3-D flight deck at one glance across my two DELL monitors.JS

hi JS whats your email i can send you some pics in original size, yes you can see the entire cockpit however the zoom on the FS2004 is limited to 0.31 so you cannot go further back, however in FSX the zoom you can go further back, but it does add to the immersion of the whole flying experience.

That's why I use the Flight 1 view utility in FS9. When my zoom is exhausted at 0.31, I can pull back in the VC for miles and see everything spread out before me.I have not touched FSX and have no plans to do so until the end of 2007 when we have the technology to run it properly. I know it is fantastic but not with our current workhorse rigs and cards. My email is:[email protected]
