Gary,I forgot to mention I have a 19" ELO Touch for my FMC and other stuff. So the second Monitor out from the 8800GTX is used for that. But I do have anther spare video card lying around. a 7600GT. But the drivers for the 8800 series are different from the 7 series.Manny

Manny:I have a DELL 24" in the center and 2x20.1" DELL LCDs flanking left and right. I gotta say, it is bloody fantastic. True, the res is less than optimal on all but the quality of the picture, the readability of the gauges, the sense of immersion in 3-D VCs is simply fantastic. It can't be beat. Night flights are particularly incredible. Everybody who sees the rig, simmer and non alike, says "Whoa! Wow!"I am not sure I would even go for a center matching 20.1" panel at this stage because the 24" LCD is so fantastic in quality and huge in size. I thought I would want all three to be matched in size and pixels but it's not really worth doing. And besides DELL now seems to have stopped selling any regular 4:3 size 20.1" panels.Earlier I had two LCDs but the centerline was a constant issue for me. Not any more. I can see right down the centerline all the time and it's superb. Worth every last cent to get three panels. I have no regrets with this set up at all.JS

JS,Does your T2Go think you have three identical LCDs? Meaning..what is the resolution on each of you LCDs? Is your center 24" widescreen stretched out unlike the left and right ?What is the total resolution of all three?Manny

No resolution is specified within the Advanced window of DISPLAY inside the PC. The TH2G just recognizes ANY triple screen set up as one giant monitor and sets a res of 3840x1024 for the entire display real estate if that is what you wish to set (and it is the highest res available at this time, I believe.) So I can't go into the DISPLAY function and see what any of the three LCD res's are because they simply are not recognized as individual LCD panels because of the TH2G hardware. There is a slight lateral distortion with the 24" panel because of its widescreen aspect (16:10, I think, rather than the regular 4:3 setting), but quite honestly this is not a significant item for me--or for anybody else who sees the set-up. If you studied the screens closely you could of course pick out the very slight lateral distortion and say "Aha, there ya go, that's proof, it's cr@p", but in reality if you saw it, you would most likely say, "Wow, that looks fantastic!"There are one or two folks on the forum who I know had the same setup as me but decided that they absolutely had to have the same size LCD for all three panels. I understand. Especially if they are 19" panels because the 19" native res is 1280x1024 and fits absolutely perfectly with TH2G specification and is what MATROX would recommend as the optimum. But for my part, since I already had a 20.1" and a 24" DELL LCD, I decided to get another 20.1" LCD and use that size as left and right flanks. I am pretty satisfied with the results, I can honestly tell you. I think 19" would now be a bit too small for me optically and physically at this stage. If somebody would explain to me how to take and file a screenshot on my FS PC (which is not connected to the web and is in another part of my house) and post it here, with the right size of file, etc., I'd be happy to try and take a few screenies for you and for others.JS

Magic Man- terrific pic!! What a good looking setup. As the ancient proverb says- "Picture is worth a thousand words!" Perhaps we will yet convince the sceptical of the truly remarkable enhancement to simming realism thru' multi monitors. Here's another screenshot showing the 180

Thanks for the kind words. I've been waiting for this setup for quite a while and it really has opened FSX up for me. Together with a TrackIR it's great, love flying the helos at the moment. As to the query about dual cards, no, single 8800GTX doing all the work (without issue too) - one output to the TH2Go and the other to the 24" Dell.
