Bob, Great! Will send you the manual copy later today. That blue strip is FSInn, I use it for flying online at VATSIM, but it actaully is a suite with a lot of functionality. Among the features it offers are voice communications capabilities while flying on line with ATC, ACARS-like functions (weather and comms),traffic radar (I use the TCAS though :) ), pushback gauge, realtime weather loader (independent of FSUIPC), and many more. hm, but I mean... is possible to use the CNx in the start? since the CNx is the correct value to altitude and temperatures errors, the float of reading will be minimum in ground...

The idle RPM variation due to temp is actually significant enough at extreme temps (e.g. Artic or desert heat condx) to be a problem, so using CNx values was not a good solution. I model idle RPM performance externally while on the ground to keep stable idle settings, and to reflect the correct idle speeds for each of the -9, -15, and -17 variants. Last I heard the draft manual was under revision. Perhaps I read that wrong. Would like to see what's there now, even if it is an incomplete project. Perhaps a better approach would be to finish the manual in a collaborative way. Others could jump in an complete/review it. I think we mousers are mature enough to be able to objectively collaborate in the completion of this document. I still have the list of several people, some of them actual B737-200 pilots, that were willing to help with the manual when I was doing it as part of the original Tinmouse project.
