I was just wondering if the PMDG 744 is really that hard on the FPS as compared to the Leveld 767?I've heard horror stories but im not sure if it would be that much harder on frames .I know this should belong in the PMDG forum but I didnt want to have a comparison to the Leveld in there, If its in the wrong forum mods feel free to move it.Thank you muchP.S lets just say im asking because its a very possible xmas present LOL

I'd say overall it depends on your system but if your computer runs the Level-D smoothly then the PMDG should be comparible.

What are your sys specs? Put it this way, if you can run the PSS 757-200 then the PMDG 747-400 will seem like its got a cray supercomputer included helping with performance!The 747 is no worse than any other complex aircraft AFAIK, and I HIGHLY recommend it personally AND as an Avsim Reviever.

I own both and they both run similar here. The 744 has a frame rate tuning tool included in the PMDG menu to tweak the frames too.

The 744F is the version that has the framerate problem. The PAX version like what was said above is comparable to Level-D's 767.

Me either. The PAX and F version are the same for me frame rate wise.
