January 30, 200719 yr Mornin' all - besides Simflyers - does anyone else have payware scenery for KORD (FS9)? I would buy the simflyers version but they don't sell it anymore. I tried to see if they would let me buy it "as is" no support but no one responded to my email. Anyway if anyone else offers a payware KORD for FS9 please let me know, I would appreciate it.
January 30, 200719 yr http://secure.simmarket.com/product_info.p...roducts_id=1896Tha link will take you to a product mega hubs at Simmarket. Include a few airports all for 20 dollars. Just FYI the simflyers ORD is a frame killer. Fly Tampa Midway is a great airport though. Andrew
January 30, 200719 yr Author Andrew thanks a lot man - that is exactly what i am looking for. I am able to run the Mega Frankfurt with my sliders mostly full right so I am hoping i will be able to run this. For some reason the default scenery kills my frame rates while looking at the terminal so I wanted to try some other scenery and see if i get better performance.
January 30, 200719 yr Partner, if you are having problems with the default scenery lowering your frames I would hold off on the payware. You may be disapointed.Cheers,Scott
January 30, 200719 yr The best deal on older SimFlyers stuff is the JustFlight World Airports 2 CD, which right now also comes with the original World Airports CD...in all close to 20 of the old SimFlyers sceneries for $25 or so.If you use the FlyTampa Midway scenery, be aware that it includes a BGL file that causes problems with the SimFlyers KORD (or any other third-party KORD) with doubled up jetways and buildings. See the FlyTampa KMDW docs for details on un-dorking KORD if you have both installed. But, that said, I can't recommend SimFlyers unless you have a really strong system...I'm using a Core 2 Extreme X6800 at 3.2GHz and a 768MB 8800GTX card, and I now enjoy using these former framerate asassins. Not state of the art, but way better than default.RegardsBob ScottATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-VSantiago de Chile Bob Scott | President and CEO, AVSIM Inc ATP Gulfstream II-III-IV-V Sys1 (MSFS20+24/XPlane12+11): AMD 9800X3D, water 2x240mm, MSI MPG X670E Carbon, 64GB GSkill 6000/30, nVidia RTX4090FE Alienware AW3821DW 38" 21:9 GSync, 2x4TB Crucial T705 PCIe5 + 2x2TB Samsung 990 SSD, EVGA 1000P2 PSU, 12.9" iPad Pro Thrustmaster TCA Boeing Yoke, TCA Airbus Sidestick, Twin TCA Airbus Throttle quads, PFC Cirrus Pedals, Coolermaster HAF932 case Sys2 (P3Dv5/v4): i9-13900KS, water 2x360mm, ASUS Z790 Hero, 32GB GSkill 7800MHz CAS36, ASUS RTX4090 Samsung 55" JS8500 4K TV@60Hz, 3x 2TB WD SN850X 1x 4TB Crucial P3 M.2 NVME SSD, EVGA 1600T2 PSU Fiber link to Yamaha RX-V467 Home Theater Receiver, Polk/Klipsch 6" bookshelf speakers, Polk 12" subwoofer, 12.9" iPad Pro PFC yoke/throttle quad/pedals with custom Hall sensor retrofit, Thermaltake View 71 case, Stream Deck XL button box Sys3 (DCS/P3Dv4/ATS/ETS): AMD 7800X3D, MSI MPG X870E Carbon, Noctua NH-D15S, 64GB GSkill 6000/30, EVGA RTX3090 Alienware AW3420DW 34" 21:9 GSync, Corsair HX1000i PSU, 4TB Crucial T705 PCIe5 + 2TB Samsung 970Evo Plus, TM TCA Officer Pack, Saitek combat pedals, TM Warthog, TM RS300 FF wheel/pedals, Coolermaster HAF XB case
