MAJOR bummer! I just read through the manual and noticed:"Operation system: WINDOWS XP (32 bit), WINDOWS VISTA (32 bit). We cannotguarantee correct operation of EZCA on another OS."http://www.ezdok-software.com/resources/manual_english.pdf (page 6)Looks like I won't be getting this after all! :(Or MAYBE I'll be exercising the F1 30 day money back guarantee for the first time?!

It would indeed be a shame if an FSX-only product would not work on 64-bit OS, which should be the default OS choice for anyone updating their systems for FSX.Too early to say though, it may work just fine! :(

Do not worry... they do not plan to forget about 64-bit! We will have to see how it works across the wider spectrum of 64-BIT machines... as there are 3 of them: XP, Vista, and 7.For some it may work out of the box. For others it may require special configurations of the executable, and for others there may be problems... but we are not certain until we see the wider distribution. So the developers will of course be standing by. They just cannot be certain because for example, if it works on Vista 64, that is no guarantee it will work on XP 64 or Windows 7 64.The product is a standard 32-Bit executable, but there are other factors, including how a persons system is setup.

Thanks,

Working of EZCA has begun on developer software which not support 64 bits directly. We can't guarantee 100 % job on 64 bits. But in EZCA have not assembler inserts or special commands intended for job on 64 bits OS directly. We don't use artful algorithms which work only on 32 bit OS . If in yours 64 bit OS fine work old 32 bits applications then EZCA is obliged to work not worse. I don't see any reasons to worry. FSX it wasn't developed directly for 64 bit OS and you can not see 64bit in FSX specification but it work is fine . For 100 % guarantee, the developer should get:1. Vista 64, Windows 7 642. The developer software which it is adapted for 64 bits OS.3. To replace all components with which it worked.4. Remake 2/3 of code.5. To find place on hard disk for installation of test 64 bits OS.In the conditions of working out it is big risk to lose current the project. But not all. Time... The developer need some time for debug new 64bit project. The good news. Flight1 will start sales soon. Visit to Flight1 for more info.http://www.flight1.com/products.asp?product=ezdockcam

So if I understand correctly, it will probably work fine on Win 7 64-bit, you just haven't tested sufficiently to make it an officially supported platform? With the 30-day money back guarantee, no problem.

Congrats, Mariftarr and Flight1! It's for sale at the link posted a couple above. It's somewhat unfortunate that it has been released at the same time as FTX's PNW, as it will kill my immediate sale, and that of many others, I suspect; however - don't worry - those sales will begin to happen in a couple of weeks or so. It's a great product. All the best,

Alex,They are having some problems with the initial release - which you are probably experiencing. It looks like they have a fix and it should be out in a few days. Heave a look at their support forum EZDoc SupportDaveEdit - Oops, Steve beat me to it...
