After 12 years of flying Flight Sims I might get the answer to a certain question. On the above picture of the Garmin 500 GPS shows the flight plan from KSNA to KAJO. At the bottom of the gauge , the last entry that you can see is: KTOA. You can tell by looking at the gauge that there are MORE waypoints listed but they are BELOW the visable portion of the GAUGE. How can you SCROOL down and see the remaining waypoints ???????? Thanks jerrycwo4
There is a very comprehensive manual in the Learning Center that covers all aspects of using the Garmin GNS500... :( 1. Press the center of the small knob on the right side to enable the cursor2. Click on the top left/right sides of the large knob on the right side to scroll the cursor up/downThere are a LOT of things that the GNS500 default will do that 99.9% of simmers don't know about simply because they don't bother to read... :(
