Is this feature available in PMDG MD 11, or will it be in the future?

I have not managed to cause any "tire failure" warning, but it would be cool if theres some certain touchdown V/S limit that would trigger the warning and start deflating the tires, and as they deflate, the airplane starts to loose directional control.

the aural warning and tyre deflation as indicated by the SD CONFIG page would be enough for me....wonder why PMDG didnt implement it

If we leave out the loss of directional control, it would probably be quite simple to just add a code telling that if V/S at touchdown is greater than X then the tires will deflate and the alarm will sound. I guess this would get more difficult if it has to know which tires hit the ground harder etc.Nevertheless, even if its not perfect, it would be fun to actually have some "punishment" from making a hard landing.

Interesting video post, some of the others in the list are worth looking at as well...He is not too hot on flaring the aircraft...I find the callout "Approaching 07R" interesting as well... whether we need this stuff additionally is of course debatable...Perhaps we should ask for a flushing toilet in 3D next...:(Andrew
