In my view you guys are using quite strong words. Not that I'm defending CS products, no. But, knowing the bugs, I'm still enjoying their 757. It was my conscious will to buy this product.Well, maybe I have a different understanding of the word 'crap'.Just my 2 eurocents.
I'm in the same boat! I bought it for $10, so I've gotten my money's worth! I couldn't imagine having spent as much as some did on it though, especially with that old block system. :(

Well, to use words that are not to strong...they have no store and you have no recourse. You cannot complain or they simply flip a switch and shut you off claiming strong words. The real worry is that someone CAN make a bunch of promises, produce substandard products, and then provide no recourse for your money back. The only point of contact now becomes a web forum, (which they censor), and then use to create a false sense of support for their point of sale. After the sale, they get away with whatever they want to.With software companies acting like that, it's no wonder that people hack into the products and post them for free. If there is no loyalty from the vendor, then there usually is no loyalty from the public.Just my non-strong words opinion...Mark

CS stinks. People who seem to like the 757 enjoy that you can open the engine cowlings and the radar on the nose. Ooooooooo that's why I buy add on aircraft. So I can look at them on the ground. The block system they had was like a ponzi scheme. To tell customers to upgrade to FSX just removes all rumors of their shoddy customer support. Now we know it is a fact. They patrol their forum to remove unhappy customers rather than actually helping them and making them happy customers. If someone says their 767 is better than LDS, they are crazy.RegardsRichie

You know, I've thought about this thread a bit and like to add a thought, (which is really easy to lose site of). CS really might not have as much money as you might think. When they say that they don't have the resources to complete something, it could mean something totally different and they may be glossing over an issue that they don't want to make public.Who knows, it could actually be the person or persons that created the 757 model may have some sort of copyright to it and are now demanding a ton of money to do any more work to it. It doesn't change the fact that their project did not come to fruition as promised, but I wonder if they can't actually finish the thing for some untold circumstance that we will never know.Just some food for your thought before the lynching...Mark

I know Zach...it's really strange. Why in the world would you want to alienate an entire customer base on purpose? It's like cutting off your nose to spite your face. Yes, you've got me! That's what I do in the sim...

Hell even I enjoyed the thing! ...Right up until I realized that the VOR was inop, the FMC had gone kaput, and the auto pilot kept busting flight levels in turns by enough to wake up ATC... I'm not knocking anyone for liking what they like about the aircraft, just highly disappointed and really aggravated at CS and their attitude towards the people that put money in their pockets. Go give even their forum rules a read. Their attitude just reeks in my opinion.

Well I paid with Visa so they might have a different opinion. ;-)But I am in a holding pattern awaiting the patch.

If you just purchased it, and it's for FS9, There'll be no patches. You got what you got...
