July 22, 200916 yr The thread That's a thread where someone asked about a possible final update on the 757. Now let's all be honest people, the thing IS buggy as an old bag of rice, but, has real potential. Just some interesting reading I thought. Most of my replies have been hacked to death or completely deleted by them, but you'll get the gist of what they're in this whole thing for more that anything else, and it ain't customer satisfaction or love of the hobby. It get's really good towords the end when CS finally comes out with, to a paying customer, mind you, "get with it, buy FSX!" Now, remember the topic is a plane that was available before FSX's release. If this belongs in another place, then mods, please move it, but don't delete it, please. Cheers
July 22, 200916 yr The solution to the cs problem is simple. I bought the fs9 757 it didn't work right so I won't buy another of their products again. If everyone did this they would eventually go away and we wouldn't have a company that doesn't care about its customers. Thanks anthony Anthony Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9700K CPU @ 3.60GHz 3.60 GHZ, 32 GB ram, win 11, gtx 4070 Super

As I said earlier, they cut out all the "good stuff" in my posts, and deleted others altogether. No foul language, just strong opinions. Funny, they'll delete a post in minutes, so, they ARE watching, but the won't reply once the conversation goes a little south...

Post after post of reviews of CS crap. Horrible customer service. Buggy Products. Incomplete products. But they put out a new product (767, Really? You really want to compete with LDS?) And everyone runs to it and buys it?And then they post all over the place about how bad it is.I constantly scratch my head over that.I personally wish they would just go away to. Clarke Kruger - CYEG
July 22, 200916 yr I fixed the CS 757 bugs by uninstalling it and getting the PSS 757. :(Good call. But I have to say that the CS vc is very, very nice to look at. PSS stuff, seem to "cartoonish" to me in the VC.
July 22, 200916 yr It is all what you are looking for in a sim really. For me systems and functionality are what are most important...no one can argue that the CS birds (all of them) look darn fine. Al Stiff
July 22, 200916 yr Someone just asked if they know it's broken, why is it still for sale! DELETED...I replied "Exactly!!! Furthermore, Why not put a note on the product page and have all the distributors do so as well, stating "NOTE: There are a lot of things about this aircraft that do not work. No support will be given." DELETED... Followed by a post from admin "to all: please do not violate forum rules"Now the reason why is obvious... people will stop buying their crap. Hence why I said neither love for the hobby nor customer satisfaction are in their reasoning...EDIT: Oh look, now they've locked the topic...

July 22, 200916 yr I'll say!!! They just locked it! Well I sent them a PM advising them I intend to create a PR Sh*t storm and that they can only censor that one little forum. Think I'll make a youtube today.... :(

Now, remember the topic is a plane that was available before FSX's release. If this belongs in another place, then mods, please move it, but don't delete it, please. Cheers Compared to what CS pulled with their FS9 727/707 the 757 is actually quite nice. I love the VC and the bird seems functional on my end for the most part (like the Feelthere Airbus series I usually tweak a few things in the aircraft.cfg/.air files as needed based on real world data/performance). Yes the bugs outlined on various threads are present in the CS 757 but for my flights from KMSP to places like KMCO it works out great... I remember the 727 was just unflyable and unfortunate in every since. On short final that plane had a weird float effect making for a weird touchdown and/or glide path down to the runway. Over all outside of looks the 727 in my book was a disaster especially after Dreamfleet released their version and showed how the 727 actually should handle. The 707 was a whole different can of worms if which CS just went cold on that project early. I don't believe there was ever a patch released for the 707 but I could be wrong. Either way the 707 was dropped in a disastrous state. What's funny is their still selling it in it's broken condition... There's a case for legal action I would guess selling a faulty product that doesn't work as advertised. That's why I'm so glade CS went back and completed their 757 to a point we no longer have things like that dreaded 'Block' system. It was frustrating looking at the detail of the VC with little more than default gauges and functionality that even then didn't fully work (pitot heat for example had to be operated via the keyboard with no way of visually telling it was on). The avionics package now is very realized and honestly I have no complaints. I can fly this bird with an FMC, weather radar, and a functioning AP from point A to Z. I can do an ILS landing with no problem in zero visibility...Now what irks me is in standard CS fashion they drop support with no warning and move over to something totally different (today it's the 767 and exclusive FSX development). The FS9 757 still needs more work and the sad fact is not that much more work (we were so close to a stellar product, very frustrating). Finish a product then move on is basic common since which I'm finding as I get older isn't afforded to all people. For us FS9er's out here we really need not worry about CS from this point on. They have cut off a good portion of their revenue by abandoning FS9, problem solved for us. I won't buy another CS product for the simple fact I don't use FSX. With a gig of memory on my video card in a Dual Core machine it makes no since to go back to stutters like I've seen with every version in this franchise before and now after (there's never been nothing like FS9 and it's performance with the most complex of add-ons running on top of it). Word has it FSX will never perform to it's true potential... When I have a fluid running sim for all kinds of aviation simulation the choice is clear especially applying this to my real world experiance. The FSXer's are ###### as well with CS as the ported over 757 performs poorly in FSX and the new 767 is full of bugs that most likely will not fully get addressed. Those FSXer's new to this hobby will get it soon enough concerning this company. Everybody including myself marvel at the graphics this company puts forth in their models and that's why many keep buying with hopes everything else will work out. For me the CS757 did that for the most part. At rare times CS get's it right a.k.a the C130. Knowing how bad the FS9 757 could have been I count my blessings as to what condition it's in today. To be quit honest the only product I've known CS to somewhat get right is the aforementioned C130 next is the 757 which is bitter sweet to admit... All other products from them (fighter jets included) from what I've heard look nice but are virtually unusable in many ways once in the sim (FS9). The only two and I mean 'two' products that you can get some kind of enjoyment out of that I know of is again the C130 and 757 (yes with it's various bugs). I actually enjoy the CS757 for the routes I fly. I love the VC over the PSS option (in which I could never get the PSS autopilot panel to light up at night). There's really no comparison visually between the two. PSS's bird visually is very unrealistic. So again I count my blessings with the CS 757 and realize it doesn't get that much better from this company unfortunately... July 22, 200916 yr Now the thread is locked. "Buy FSX"?! Think I'll make a youtube today.... :(Hey AA, Can you play guitar and sing? The guy who got his guitar damaged by United Airlines did a youtube music video and got United's attention pronto!
July 22, 200916 yr HAHA!!! Actually, I do!! And I play a taylor!!! (I swear!) If we were dealing with that kind of finance I just might do that... Pics for proof because I know its hard to believe!!!
July 22, 200916 yr Post after post of reviews of CS crap people will stop buying their crapIn my view you guys are using quite strong words. Not that I'm defending CS products, no. But, knowing the bugs, I'm still enjoying their 757. It was my conscious will to buy this product.Well, maybe I have a different understanding of the word 'crap'.Just my 2 eurocents.
