July 31, 200916 yr I've done one build with the TJ07 and it ended up getting sent back to Performance-pcs because of a very poor fit on the side panels. It could have obviously been a isolated issue but I wasn't impressed. The TJ07 does have better provisions for liquid cooling but if you're set on SilverStone I'd say stick with the TJ09-10. What has won me over as of late with Lian Li is all of the quality case accessories that you can choice from that leave SilverStone in the dust. The hard drive mounting system on my TJ09 does pale in comparison with how Lian Li has set things up with their higher end cases also.I never had any problems with the doors although I do see where you are coming from if the unit you had was 'tweaked' in any way. They did a better job with the doors on the 9 and 10. And I probably should have pointed out that the TJ07 is the early model of the TJ series (2006) which will not come with what some of the more modern towers do. What I do like about that tower is the massive amount of room in it even compared to the 09-10 which I also use. The TJ07 is my

July 31, 200916 yr The TJ10 seems a better choice to me, and I won't have to buy $50 worth of replacement fans. My room is a quiet place!I ended up replacing all the fans on both my SilverStone TJ09 and Lian Li PC-A70B with Scythe"S-FLEX
July 31, 200916 yr Zach.. djt01 is correct.. you will most likely be replacing fans anyway in pretty much anything you buy to customize your tower and your sound level needsAs I posted here about the TJ10http://forums1.avsim.net/index.php?s=&...t&p=1611531@ djt... Nice tower. The Lian Li has elements of the TJ10 in design and I can see some advantages to cooing with the Lian Li. I may pick one up in Q1 next year when I set up for a test build.. it's certainly a monster in width like the TJ07. The TJ9 are10 are much narrower which does make working with the larger heatsinks a bit cumbersome. I would want the unpainted version if they have it. I much prefer a brushed or machined finish

It doesn't have a removable motherboard tray but it looks like it's got a lot going for it as far as air flow and cable management are concerned.http://www.corsair.com/products/800d/default.aspx

August 1, 200916 yr Nice fans, (Scythe S-Flex)Have any of you heard of Panaflo fans lately? I used to use those several years ago. FrozenCPU says that Panaflo has been bought out:http://www.frozencpu.com/brands/brand/b51/...lo_NMB-MAT.html Yes I've used them in the past. At one time they were considered one of the best.
August 2, 200916 yr Very glad I read this. After thinking, I'm starting to wonder just how badly I need 4 huge fans whirring on my computer case. The TJ10 seems a better choice to me, and I won't have to buy $50 worth of replacement fans. My room is a quiet place!I'm going to have to ponder on this one for a while. One solution is to add a front-panel fan control panel and you can have best of both worlds. I use a Zalman MFC-1 on my air-cooled X6800 machine, and when I push up the OC to 3.6 GHz for FS, I turn up the fans. Since the sound level is up fairly high when the sim is running, the extra fan noise isn't an issue then. If I'm doing other things on the machine, I downshift the speed and dial the fans down.RegardsBob ScottColonel, USAF (ret)ATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-VColorado Springs, CO Bob Scott | President and CEO, AVSIM Inc ATP Gulfstream II-III-IV-V Sys1 (MSFS20+24/XPlane12+11): AMD 9800X3D, water 2x240mm, MSI MPG X670E Carbon, 64GB GSkill 6000/30, nVidia RTX4090FE Alienware AW3821DW 38" 21:9 GSync, 2x4TB Crucial T705 PCIe5 + 2x2TB Samsung 990 SSD, EVGA 1000P2 PSU, 12.9" iPad Pro Thrustmaster TCA Boeing Yoke, TCA Airbus Sidestick, Twin TCA Airbus Throttle quads, PFC Cirrus Pedals, Coolermaster HAF932 case Sys2 (P3Dv5/v4): i9-13900KS, water 2x360mm, ASUS Z790 Hero, 32GB GSkill 7800MHz CAS36, ASUS RTX4090 Samsung 55" JS8500 4K TV@60Hz, 3x 2TB WD SN850X 1x 4TB Crucial P3 M.2 NVME SSD, EVGA 1600T2 PSU Fiber link to Yamaha RX-V467 Home Theater Receiver, Polk/Klipsch 6" bookshelf speakers, Polk 12" subwoofer, 12.9" iPad Pro PFC yoke/throttle quad/pedals with custom Hall sensor retrofit, Thermaltake View 71 case, Stream Deck XL button box Sys3 (DCS/P3Dv4/ATS/ETS): AMD 7800X3D, MSI MPG X870E Carbon, Noctua NH-D15S, 64GB GSkill 6000/30, EVGA RTX3090 Alienware AW3420DW 34" 21:9 GSync, Corsair HX1000i PSU, 4TB Crucial T705 PCIe5 + 2TB Samsung 970Evo Plus, TM TCA Officer Pack, Saitek combat pedals, TM Warthog, TM RS300 FF wheel/pedals, Coolermaster HAF XB case

Though I'm jut going to buy a quality fan with low noise output and leave it at that. ___________________________________________________________________________________ Zachary Waddell -- Caravan Driver -- Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/zwaddell Avsim ToS Avsim Screenshot Rules
August 6, 200916 yr Author Nice case, though I've seen a few user reviews stating cooling was less than expected. What do you think? I've yet to buy one, and my parts are due in tomorrow! I shouldn't start building until 3 weeks from now, anyway. ___________________________________________________________________________________ Zachary Waddell -- Caravan Driver -- Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/zwaddell Avsim ToS Avsim Screenshot Rules
