J41 Advanced Failure Module

Featured Replies

I remember somewhere that Robert mentioned something about the J41 advanced failure module would have some new features in comparison to the past PMDG releases. I also remember that he mentioned he wasn't sure if the new module would make it into the initial release, or, be released shortly after as an addon to the J41.I just saw the J41 product page at the PMDG site and it didn't mention anything in regards. Not complaining, just curious if this module is still a plan for the J41 release?JB

I can only envision a day where these addons start simulating individual circuit breakers that can be pulled on systems ;)

we are hard at work on an all-new failure-control module that will reflect some of the changes that you guys have been asking for over the past few years. There is some question in my mind as to whether this module will be ready for release-time, but we'll keep you posted. If it doesn't make the release- it will come to you in an update for certain.

So Mich, watcha think? Is it still a go? Or will it be released as an update. Eitherway, it doesn't matter to me. I will be tickled pink as soon as I get my hands on this bird whether it has the new failure module or not...JB

I can live without the failure model for a bit - will need to learn the SOP first! ;)Prefer to see the failure model later and have it done right, than rushed out the door.Best regards,Robin.
