The only one in your list that I have is the RealAir Duke. And I'd give it five stars, its a wonderful plane. I also have the Aerosoft Cheyenne which is good too, though its a turbo prop.

The Just Flight Beech Duchess is a solid performer and especially for the price, but I don't think it could honestly be described as having truly modern avionics. That's actually one of the reasons I bought it, since it had a good old Century autopilot on the panel.Because it is part of Just Flight's Flying Club fleet, it is based on a real aircraft, and as with all the other Flying Club aircraft, that does mean the avionics are more like what you'd find in a typical aeroplane rather than a 'money no object' set up, i.e. sometimes a bit scratched or worn and not always the very latest thing. I actually quite like that sometimes, as I think it better reflects the reality of the planes I usually find myself in LOL. But of course one of the nice things about FS, is we can fly anything we like, so there is no need to stick to occasionally grim economic realities with a virtual aircraft.Avionics preferences aside, if frame rates are a worry, then the JF Beech Duchess is a good choice though, as it does not go over the top with 3D gauges and all that stuff.Al

The latest version of the Duke incorporates the Reality XP GPS seamlessly... how is that for realistic avionics? RealAir went way beyond a panel.cfg mod... they integrated the Reality XP avionics into the model!Robert

Almost - the Reality XP GPS cannot drive the HSI in the Duke. I know the developers have been communicating, but so far no fix. Means you will not get course deviation and glideslope (on WAAS approaches) displayed, otherwise it works fine.
We happen to be working on our Diamond DA42 Twinstar with Mindstar G1000 :(
Looking forward to seeing that :-)Al

I don't get the G/S during WAAS approaches for the default acft which I've aliased the RXP unit to in the first place...But I'd recommend the Duke over all those you list. You do need to purchase the RXP unit or units if you want them in the cockpit. The ES SR22 G3 Turbo is also one of my favorite acft. I've aliased the RXP 430W to that acft as well :)

I have yet to try a WAAS aproach; but I recall from previous threads that the HSI in the Duke does communicate laterally and vertically. However you can not couple the autopilot to it so you will have to handfly or adjust autopilot settings on the fly. Just ask Geoffa!Robert

Thanks for your opinions!RealAir Duke or the Diamond DA42 Twinstar might be the one. Are there any add-on repaints available for the Duke? Is there any ideas when the DA42 will be released?

Check our forums from time to time for updates on progress but we can't offer time frames to completion. There will of course be an announcement when we begin beta testing and another at release time. :(
