McPhats new free DL livery, fully UHDT, DL it at 2am, I couldn't resist a 'quick' look, its 4:30am now, I'm knackered but I just can't stop admiring this awesome paintjob. Well done to the McPhat team, can't wait for the others. All 25 shots can be seen at: http://s264.photobucket.com/albums/ii172/S...mview=slideshowCheck it out folks, this is the best I have seen:2009-8-5_3-11-59-50.jpg2009-8-5_3-13-43-241.jpg2009-8-5_3-15-9-220.jpg2009-8-5_3-17-1-224.jpg2009-8-5_3-17-55-133.jpg2009-8-5_3-18-19-528.jpg2009-8-5_3-23-0-993.jpg2009-8-5_3-26-41-565.jpg2009-8-5_3-30-5-3%38%30.jpg2009-8-5_3-9-47-221.jpgSorry for the hasty words/post, but I'm falling asleep at the keyboard :( Cheers

Nice job.Nebojsa

Hey Soya,Great shots as usual! :( Keep it up!!OBTW:Did you happen to notice pictures #9 & 10 (on the web site), look at the wheels. When it first went by, I thought it was still on the ground, but the next picture shows lift off. :( There work is the best though!!

Sorry guys, but I don't like the style. It is too much photo-realistic and does not blend well within the fs9/fsx environment... (Building, ai textures, etc)Ghiom

Thank you all kindly for your words & praise. I still cannot get over how amazing this UHDT livery is, really looking forward to any other UHDT livery they may release in the future. To anyone using this livery, do not forget to make sure texture max load is set to 4096 in both FSX.cfg and any screen config files. Easiest is to use the handy little program at www.frostysoftware.com, keep the texture at 4096.

You are certainly entitled to your opinion. I personally think that if the liveries are get better in quality, then hopefully the environment will get better too. Mind you, most of the environment has been getting better, take REX, FTX, AS addon airports, ES Alderney, photoreal sceneries etc. I think this livery fits right in with those environment addons and I cannot wait for more.

Well, I for one think those pictures are one of the best I have ever seen around these forums.Would it be possible that you discover us your settings in FSX, settings in FSX.cfg, your configuration? And also it would be very interesting to know what kind of hardware you are running and what are actual FPS you are getting (are your shots only for show or is the FSX really working well)?I am asking because I tried FSX many times, and my hardware just didn't cut it. I suspect the graphic card the whole time, and been thinking about GTX285, but my budget right now kinda doesn't allow it.Upping the quality of one "part" of the sim is in my opinion not a wrong thing. Everyone should work on the part they do the best, and time will come when scenery will reach this quality-level. Problem with the scenery is not that its not possible: its the current hardware limitation and current unavailability of such quality material as would FSX support.

That paint would be perfect if they didn't ruin it by wearing out the "American" titles so much.I'm not a fan of McPhat by any means but this is by far their best paint ever. They over do the wear and tear and dirtiness on all their aircraft.

Word Not Allowed: thank you for the compliment. Giving you my settings wouldn't help you, trust me, I know from experience. The reason being is that FSX is a beast to tame and it needs to be tamed specifically for each different PC. What I can tell you is to take a look at probably the best tweak page for FSX which is: http://www.simforums.com/forums/forum_posts.asp?TID=29041It is there I got most of my tweaking done and it helped me to make it look as my screenshots show. Good luck.American 833: I know what you mean, I personally do like the worn out look but it would be nice if they could include new & clean liveries too, perhaps they should start with a clean livery, save that, then modify it to make it dirty & worn, then give that out too?

Soya, these shots are absolutely spectacular!!!!!! (but I'm sure you've heard that before lol)I'm just curious about your computer. Tweaking FSX really works wonders, but I have noticed the processor is very important as well. Are you running a newer Intel? My AMD Athlon fx 60 was THE gaming processor of it's time (feels like just yesterday) but it doesn't seem to love FSX (or FS9 for that matter). As for McPhat, why do people hate them so much? I saw something a whileback about them doing something illegal? Maybe I'm imagining things lol

I didn't mean FSX settings specifically - I was more interested in settings in REX, what clouds/sky textures. And also your hardware. I am thinking about that GTX285, and would like to know how your FSX really performs.Fact is, if FPS are relatively low for a real flight, there would be no point for me. I am not going to invest 300

People shouldn't hate, it's so negative! :( It depends on where you go, and which crowd 'you hang with'.I'd say we are not hated, we do pretty alright : http://www.mcphatstudios.net/index.php?opt...&Itemid=116http://www.mcphatstudios.net/index.php?opt...&Itemid=106Yeah, some people 'hate' us. We know who they are, cause it are the same people every single time, making it their life goal to tell everybody how 'everybody hates us', and how much we 'suck'. We try not to waste time on people that hate and focus on the people that appreciate our work. People that don't like us, or our textures, should just not download our textures and focus on the things they DO like..Now, to Soya : I've seen the shots already, but still : Kudos! Although, I must say, I like them better in DXT10. I am not too fond about the way DXT9 handles reflections.
