JS41 Black Panel (Weather Radar)

Featured Replies

Is that a weather radar on the captains side that is blank? Why do the range buttons push? And I read all the ins and outs of why PMDG doesn't do weather radar blah blah blah but it looks dumb to have a blank panel in a cockpit fuull of gauges and screens that do work. So why not just put some dummy buttons or something there instead of flying around with a blank screen all the time? Thanks

Yes.

They change the display range of the EHSI MAP mode.Regards,Nick

That screen allows integration for RXP's WX500 weather radar gauge.

Speaking of the weather radar, how does the WX500 do in terms of performance? I am looking into this package but I don't have a lot of interest in it if it will make FSX with this particular aircraft a slide show.

I use it as well. There isnt any FPS impact which I would consider to be noticeable..Stefan
