hi again JD,it's been my experience that sometimes when installing a new version of a piece of software that sometimes the old version needs to be un-installed first. never installed a "new version" of an FS add-on b4. was just curious that's all.thanks again for the info.happy flyin, fm

We on the beta team have both v4 and v5 installed. When v5 is available if you wish to keep v4 installed then just rename the suggested folder during the v5 install. Easy peasy. :(

beta testers each have unique talents or backgrounds in real world aviation fields. some have been with me since version 1. others are real world air traffic controllers from around the world. a couple are real world pilots. a couple are professionals with programming experience. one knows more trig than anyone else on the planet.is there a specific field or background that may be beneficial?

Eh...IT professional (without programming skills), but I guess that's not one of the field of expertise you're looking for :( Only thing I can add is that I'm serious in testing and RFC's and textual errors (typo's) :(
