Hello All,So we thought we weren't getting it, now we did (uploaded to Avsim). So is Aryus Dead? Or are they making changes to the BMP they took? Any news?

They made no changes.Their files will most likely be removed by AVSIM for copyright violation.

I have a version of the Sovereign and Citation Excel but have not really used them. Can anyone please fill me in on the violation? Is it the panel or liveries?

Well, as just one example, the pilot/copilot images are actual Eaglesoft personnel.

If you are referring to Eaglesoft... of course. I'm also part of Eaglesoft.If you are referring to Aryus... all I know is they've taken Eaglesoft textures, distributed them as their own and all the repaints I see on AVSIM still contain the Eaglesoft textures.

I'm wondering if Aryus Works is alive. Maybe we'll get a post here from a group member

Thank you for bringing up this issue, it's bringing me to wonder however whether or not the model is ripped as well, as normally a UV map would screw up if the model isn't the same. I personally would have brought this up in the file library forum though...

I don't believe that the complete Eaglesoft textures were used, but rather portions of Eaglesoft textures were used to map portions of the models.

Thank you all for the insight. I personally do not like using addons that were improperly modified or distributed. I once had someone modify my work and repackaged/uploaded to Avsim without recognizing the original author. When I notified Avsim, they swiftly pulled the modified copy.

Felix is correct. Portions of our work are in the Aryus Works aircraft.The author refuses to this day to remove them. The kind folks at Avsim have indeed refused their upload until this is resolved. :(
