October 15, 200916 yr Would like to get everyone's opinion on a rockin hot computer that will support FSX PMDG add-ons for my new PC. Try to keep your budget around $3000.00 USD. Please include an OS. I'm looking for the best "BANG for my BUCK". Going to computer store is futile do to techs not understanding how hard and taxing FSX add-ons can be on your system. Surely not like running some of the war games. Thanks for all of your generous help in this matter!!,Chris

Of course, I'm a builder, so I'm a little out of the loop on retail prices. Doug Orvis PP-ASEL-IA (USA), Based at KHEF Picture courtesy of Kyle Rodgers
October 15, 200916 yr The system in my siggy was a little under $3,000 USD. That is, without the 26" HD monitor/TV.It runs FSX and PMDG's J41 with REX very well. Erik L.

Of course, I'm a builder, so I'm a little out of the loop on retail prices.I build to and yes it is cheaper but not everyone can build, if the OP can I would suggest he goes that route, now I just went to tigerdirect and built a PC almost identical to the hellfire GTX and it came to $3590.86 US without shipping. So yes there is a profit margine there but I don't think its to extreme.

October 15, 200916 yr Personally I would build a computer (cheaper with more performance) but since it seems that you know little about computers look for something that has quad core and 3 or more gigs of ram and a some one decent graphics card(ATI Radeon 3870 or up or NVidia 9600 and up)Taylor Oldham

No need to tell them they don't know something when you don't even know them... Mmmmk? Erik L.
