Your 737NG

Featured Replies

Hi,Having moved to FS X for quite some time now, it's been a while since I've used the 737 NG. However, I was lucky enough to sit in the jumpseat for the duration of a short flight last weekend and I couldn't get over how close to reality your product has achieved. From the sounds and ambience, to the instrumentation & lighting, everything was absolutely spot on.My experience was such that I'm reinstalling FS 2004 and the NG until you release V2.0.Needless to say, I'm eagerly anticipating it :-)John

I think I can speak for most here that we are all looking forward to the rebirth of the PMDG 737 NG...After seeing the progression from the original NG to the 747, MD-11, and JS41, we can expect to be blown away by what is to come...I am still a regular in the "old" version, though, as it accompanies me on various shorthauls around Europe...Andrew

I have too have been flying the excellent NG (as well as the MD-11) and looking forward to the NGX for some time. I am, however, disappointed to find no 2D view for the JS41. Having always used only that view, I am concerned this may be signalling the end of 2D for PMDG. Like me I am sure there are others who would welcome any indication that can be given now as to whether a 2D view will be a feature of the NGX which otherwise I have no doubt will be more than worth the wait for its release. They (PMDG) have stated:- The project is no longer named NGX. NG2 is the name.- It will be first released for FSX and later for FS9.- It will have a 2D cockpit.- It will have a HUD.- Expected release date: along 2010 (see PMDG website).I dream everyday of this release :(
