November 26, 200916 yr Personally, i find the water reflection in FSX a little bit too reflective on the High settings. I found this free plugin that lets you adjust loads of water-specific settings in FSX, and i would like to share it with you guys. This has given my water a huge realism boost! You can edit reflection levels, blends, wave height moon glow, tons. Are there are loads of cool presets as well. Here is the link: http://www.fswaterconfigurator.com/downloads.htm Hope you like it! I have been trying out a few of the 'favorite' configs, and must say that this program has taken care of my own critique of how the water looks under different situations. I just did a test flight near Vancouver, Canada...and does this setup EVER do the job of making it (oceans, lakes, etc) look much more real-life. BTW, I like the look of your personal config. The waves appear larger out in the open water, and calmer in the bays as it should. Very nice...and thank you for the lead-to. Do I like it? You BET I do!Cheers!Mitch
November 27, 200916 yr Thanks for this tool. Looks promising. One question: can it be used with REX textures? I expect no conflicts, but it is always better to ask. Bartłomiej Ender

November 27, 200916 yr Moderator Yeah it's a great tool. It was nice to be able to get rid of the horrible moon reflection on the water at night. Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator
