Repaint Request

Featured Replies

Hi JasperFirstly thank you for the kind comments it is really appreciated, and as for the preview shot, well what can I say it is looking really good, and don’t take it to hard about the nose gear doors, I always have a bit of an issue with those, for the colour of the doors I usually pick the colour from the texture sheet at the very bottom of the cut-out area for the doors, but I still end up playing around with the actual shade, in fact for any all white repaints I have a base file that has that and the main gear doors already shaded to the correct level so I don’t have to play around to much with those.By the way, welcome to the repainting ranks, and from the preview shot you are going to get a lot of requests heading your way.Take care, and have funJim Hodkinson
Sorry for the delayed reply, but as you might have guessed from that, I have very little spare time to spend on FSX and repainting :). So I probably won't be of any use to reduce your workload with requests :(. I almost got the gear door color matched up, but being a perfectionist it's not quite there yet. I will post back here when it's done, perhaps others might have some fun with a fictional ANZ livery as well.

Hi againI have had another go at the NWAL colour scheme, I hope in the way that you requested, but the best idea would be for you to take her for a spin to see for yourself, so with that in mind here is the download link for the files…http://www.filefront...41_NWAL2_01.zipAs usual and especially with this one, if you need any changes or updates making, then just let me know and I will try my best to assist.Take care, and have fun.Jim HodkinsonP.S.Sorry about the screen shot being at dusk, but it was getting late, both in the sim and here as well and I did not have time to reset the J41 and the sim to take a daytime shot, but it should give you the idea.
Hi Jim. it looks REALLY good so far, but I just have ine small modification I would like. Can you extend the front of the red stripe on to of the fuselage a bit to go all the way to the front of the aircraft, as in the 146 shot? thanks.

Hi You spotted that one, I hoped I has got away with that one as it is one of the least best areas to repaint, but if that is what you want then that is what you shall get, so if you ant to take the MKII version for a spin to see if she is what you were after then here is the download link for the updated files…http://www.filefront.com/17613728/J41_NWAL2_02.zipAll kidding aside, if you need any changes making then just let me know and I will try my best to assist.Take care, and have fun.Jim Hodkinson

Hi Jim. Its great! I always love your repaints and this one is no exeption! Thanks a bunch Jim!
@ MattI do have a couple of repaints to get out of the way, but as soon as they are released the Yeti update is next, possibly in a day or two.Take care, and back as soon as I can with the updated files.Jim Hodkinson
Okay no prob. Thanks again man.

HiI did manage to get the updates to the Yeti done (said he hopefully) there is one thing at least that I did not update, which is the fuselage stripe to a “metallic” finish, now at present I have yet to achieve a reasonable result for this type of finish, so in order not to spoil the rest of the repaint I fif not include this in the updates, I hope you can understand my reasoning on this one, but back to the plot, the engine pods are now black and not dark blue, the Yeti Airliners has been changed to Yeti Airlines (good pick up on that one) and the underscore removed, and the Nepalese decal now only appears on the right hand side of the fuselage. Now as for the font for the Yeti Airlines (the correct name this time), the entire thing is actually a graphic so I can not realy do a lot with it, I did have a font that would replace it but I have taken a lot of my fonts off my system, as the 8,000 + fonts were slowing Photoshop down to a crawl and I have no idea what the font was named to be able to reinstall it, if anybody does know a font that is the correct one or very close, then just let me know and I will get it changed. Now to the important bit, the download link for the files…http://www.filefront.com/17629804/J41_Yeti_04.zipAs always if anybody requires any further updates or changes then just let me know and I wqill try my best to assist.Take care, and have fun.Jim Hodkinson

Hi!Could someone make airBaltic repaint for this JS4100?

HiI take it you mean the lime green airBaltic colour scheme, if so than I think I may be able to come up with something as soon as I have a few thngs finished off that I have going at present, did you have any preference for the aircrafts registration, if so then let me know.Jim Hodkinson

All Fokker 50 registers are ok for me = ) Many thanks!

Hi ?I thought I was on the right track, so I made a start the other day, so if you want to take her for a spin to she if she is what you wanted, then here is the download link for the files..http://www.filefront.com/17642123/J41_AirBaltic_01.zipAs always if you need anything changing or updating, then just let me know and I will try my best to assist.Take care, and have fun.Jim Hodkinson

Oh this is perfect! Just a one more request if you don't mind... I'd love to have Air Åland's new and old colours. Would it be possible?

Hi!Did you get that Air Åland request?

Hi Jim, I just saw the other beautiful repaints here and I started asking myself if it's possible to get a repaint for our VA? While asking that myself I found it would be easier to get an answer if I ask you. ^_^So here my request: Is it possible to get a repaint with this colour scheme for the JS41? Would be very nice!Thx from Germany Daniel Gravanis

Many happy landings and always three green!

Hi Sorry about this, but I have been a little bit busy of late, but I did manage to get some free time to myself so I had a quick go at the AirAland colour scheme, and if you want to take her for a spin to see if she is what you were after then here is the download link for the files…http://www.filefront.com/17665229/J41_AIrAland_91.zipAs always if any changes or updates are needed then just let me know and I will try my best to assist, although please be aware that my internet connection may be down for a while as I am having the connection speed improved.Take care, and have a great festive season.Jim Hodkinson@ DanielIt should not be a problem to do the request, but please make sure that the use of the VA’a logo has been cleared by the appropriate VA admin staff member, and if possible a copy of the logo would be more than useful for the repaint, along with the font used for the fuselage text and any registration number you would ant adding to the colour scheme. And as above, my connection over the next few days could be tempremental at best.

Than you so much for this! Perfection!
