November 27, 201015 yr Hi DaveApologies for the delayed reply, I don’t get as much computer time as I would like to at present, but as for the 450 graphics card and the Nvidia plugins, that particular card is the one I use at present without any issues similar to the one you are experiencing, although I am running Vista 64bit system, maybe that could have some bearing on it, I really don’t know. Not much help I know, but I thought you should know about the graphics card at least.Jim Hodkinson
November 28, 201015 yr Does anyone know if there is another Airnorth J4100 link? I tried the two in the thread, neither work.Thank you for any help.Joe Lorenc Joe Lorenc
November 28, 201015 yr Hi JoeIt seems that the files have gone astray yet again, fortunately I do have a backup of the Airnorth J41, so I have uploaded the latest version to the server, and if she is the correct one then here is the download link for the files if you want to take her for a spin..http://www.filefront.com/17573618/J41_ANR_01.zipapologies for the missing files, and I hope that this is the correct scheme, if not then just let me know and I will see what I can come up with.Take care, and have fun.Jim HodkinsonJust a heads up, but the registration in the screen shot is not the same in the files, as I think that ANB was a total loss, so the registration in the download is VH-ANR at the request of another forum member. November 28, 201015 yr HiI did do an Air Greenland colour scheme for my own use, mainly I just liked the layout, so if you want to take that version for a spin to see if she is something like you wanted, then here is the download link for the files..http://www.filefront.com/17576242/J41_Air_Greenland_01.zipOne thing though, for some reason I always wanted to change this one, don’t ask me why I just thought that something did not look right, but I could not pin it down, so if you also think that she could do with an update, then just let me know and I will try my best to assist, it will also stop this particular colour scheme from bugging me.Take care, and have fun.Jim Hodkinson@ JoeYou are more than welcome, happy to help.Take care, and have fun.Jim Hodkinson
November 29, 201015 yr Hello Jim,Thanks a lot, that is just fine with me.Take care.Cheers, Yves ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Good judgement comes from experience. November 29, 201015 yr HiYour welcome, I was happy to help., and I guess it must be me, but I still get the feeling that something needs doing, I just don’t know what, or it could just be an age thing, yep probably an age thing.Take care, and have fun.Jim Hodkinson
December 3, 201015 yr HI Jim. Its me again :( I was wondering of you could give me a repaint of the JS4100 in Northwest airlink colors (I am aware that this has been done before, but im talking about the livery seen on the old Northwest Avro RJs and CRJSThanks Jim.PS: Do you know what it happening at the PMDG add-on liverys section, all the liverys I click on to download have bad links. One more thing, please omit the 'jet' part in 'jet airlink'
December 3, 201015 yr HiThe repaint should not be a problem, as I do remember doing another version of this particular colour scheme (the overall red version if memory serves me), and as for the download problems with the PMDG site, it has been discussed in the main forum, they are overhauling their system mainly in preparation for the release of 737.It may be a day or two for the repaint however, as I have to be somewhere for a few days, which means no PC access, but it should not be to long.Take care, and back when I have something.Jim H
December 4, 201015 yr looks real nice Jim!Although i would make the yellow more gold maybe use photoshop's noise filter to add some white speckles to make it metallic? An the engines are definitely black.www dot airliners.net/photo/Yeti-Airlines/British-Aerospace-Jetstream/1341279/L/ HelloI'm also very interested in having a good Yeti Airlines repaint. If I may, I also notice that in addition to the two observations quoted above:1. There is a typo in the name of the airline: Yeti Airliners should actually be Yeti Airlines i.e. should be only one r and not two2. There should be no underline or any writing below the "Yeti Airlines" decal on the Jetstreams3. The font used for the "Yeti Airlines" decal seems not to agree with the photos (but maybe i'm now nit-picking so ignore this if it's too much trouble :))4. There should be no Nepalese decal on the left/port side (beside the english decal). There is just one Nepalese decal on the starboard/right sideEverything else looking sweet!More photos just in case they're needed:http://www dot airliners dot net/photo/Yeti-Airlines/British-Aerospace-Jetstream/1337280/L/http://www dot airliners dot net/photo/Yeti-Airlines/British-Aerospace-Jetstream/1335576/L/http://jetphotos.net....php?id=6543053http://jetphotos.net....php?id=6214587and finally... THANKS!
December 5, 201015 yr Hi HamoodyJust a quick heads up on the Northwest colour scheme, as the tail of the J41 is lower than the 146 in the shot it means that to have the tail all red as per the NWAL scheme it -brings the cheat line down to just above the centre line of the fuselage, now I have not tried the scheme with a thin red stripe along the top of the fuselage and then tapering it down to the base of the fin, but I really do not think that doing it that way will produce a good result, mainly as there is the dark blue / black cheat line that already has a taper to the base of the fuselage, and a red one as well would be a little bit overpowering, well at least I think so, but hey it is your colour scheme you can have it any way you want, but I think the basic scheme in the screen shot is the better option, so just let me know which version you want, the one in the screen shot, or one with a thin red stripe on the top of the fuselage that tapers down to the base of the fin in order for all of the fin to be in the NWAL red.Take care, and looking forward to hearing your opinion.Jim Hodkinson@ MattI do have a couple of repaints to get out of the way, but as soon as they are released the Yeti update is next, possibly in a day or two.Take care, and back as soon as I can with the updated files.Jim Hodkinson
December 5, 201015 yr Hi Jim. Its looking great so far, but maybe you could just paint the tail red from the start, then make the fuselage similar to the 146. the tail/ fuselage dont necisarily have to line up like that. Thanks.Hamoody
December 5, 201015 yr Hi againI have had another go at the NWAL colour scheme, I hope in the way that you requested, but the best idea would be for you to take her for a spin to see for yourself, so with that in mind here is the download link for the files…http://www.filefront.com/17608039/J41_NWAL2_01.zipAs usual and especially with this one, if you need any changes or updates making, then just let me know and I will try my best to assist.Take care, and have fun.Jim HodkinsonP.S.Sorry about the screen shot being at dusk, but it was getting late, both in the sim and here as well and I did not have time to reset the J41 and the sim to take a daytime shot, but it should give you the idea.
