Aviation Podcasts

Yesterday, I was updating my podcasts in the ZEN Organizer (Someone stole my iPod, so I have a Creative Zen now, which I like :( ) when I started wondering if there are any video podcasts, that you could watch on the go. I found a few interesting, and good quality podcast channels that you could subscribe to via iTunes, ZENcast Organier, or even through RSS on a browser or whatever you use to manage your RSS feeds. I just wanted to share them with you incase you are interested. Some of these podcasts are in HD so it may take a bit to download depending on the length of it.

If you want an easy way to manage all these podcasts, all you have to do is download the ZENcast organizer ( http://www.zencast.com/downloads/download.asp ), then install and when you run the program, hit the '+' logo with "Subscribe" next to it, then enter the URL of the podcast (Example:http://tfpflyingvideotipsweeklyn.thefinerpoints.libsynpro.com/rss)Feel free to add to the list. I am looking for a AVWeb (http://www.youtube.com/user/AVweb) type video podcasts where you can see new airplanes and new peripherals for them.

Another good one is "Fly With Me" by Joe Dion... He's a pilot for a 'major US carrier' and podcasts about aviation in general, from an airline pilot perspective. It's unique, very well put together, and some of the stories he puts out are VERY entertaining. It's not as nuts-and-bolts as some of the above listed podcasts, but thoroughly entertaining nonetheless. It's an audio podcast, found on iTunes or his website, http://www.flywithjoe.com

Thank you for the links! I'll be sure to check it out and listen to them. Still trying to find a AVWeb type video podcast :( , only other solution is probably the iTouch or iPhone, which is pretty expensive haha.

Good topic. I don't use my Ipod that often but when I do it is nice to have a few podcasts available rather than music. I don't know why but I didn't even think about aviation podcasts.Keep 'em coming.
