February 25, 201016 yr Just to add to this post here: I distance myself from the title of this thread, I am in NO WAY dissatisifed with the JS41, quite the opposite is true, just wanted to add a comment to what has been written previously...I use a USB KVM to switch my keyboard and mouse between 2 separate desktop computers... keeps the number of cables and wireless trasnponder devices to a minimum on the desktop...Now, when I switch from one PC to another, using a hotkey on the keyboard, I momentarily lose sound on FSX. This is totally irrespective of the aircraft I am using. I repeat this is NOT a PMDG related phenomenon, or bug, for that matter. I am guessing it is an IRQ problem associated with the USB set up and my sound card. I haven't diagnosed the problem, but I would not be surprised to see if the soundcard and at least some of the USB stuff in my computer is sharing an IRQ...I have lost partial sounds in the JS41 in a different manner though, normally when changing window views, but just hitting Q twice reinstates the missing sound... that IS odd...Andrew Andrew Entwistle

I wonder if pressing it actually makes the KVM application take focus... Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com
February 26, 201016 yr Good point Ryan... cheers... I would need to check that specifically... remind me in future to think of simple solutions...Similar to diagnostics in medicine... I am sure a few medics here will have heard of the Zebra diagnosis... :(It is a momentary blip, and the sound is away for less than a second. As such, it is definitely no show stopper and has not stopped me yet...Andrew Andrew Entwistle
