Howdy- below is a post I just made in the FSDT forums in regards to scenery acting up since an comp upgrade. I'm posting here becuase it happens alot quicker when using the md11... Does anyone from pmdg have any thoughts on this issue?Also in that empty spot in the middle of the ss below, there is supposed to be an md11. If I try to switch back to the cockpit (2d or 3d) I have no bitmaps, buttons, switches, etc....HowdyI recently upgraded my computer and ever since I have been having problems with FSDT Chicago & JFK. Upon loading either airport after about 3 - 10 min depending on wx I loose the scenery and my aircraft. FSX it self hasn't crashed but it is unflyable. Attached is a SS of the problem.This problem occurs with either defualt or pmdg a/c, day or night, wx clear or varible conditions, etc..Both the Addon Manager & Couatl menus visable. Both Chicago & JFK are showing as active and not in trial mode.I have tried uninstalling both jfk & chicago using the various methods mentioned here in the forums to no avail. I have tried just installing either jfk or chicago and still have the same problems. If I remove the FSDT scenerys the problem goes away. As for my system, i'm running Asus P6t Dlux v2|i7 960 3.2 Stock|Nvidia 8800gts 640| 8 gigs ram|vista ult. 64x.I have all current driveres for my rig and have tried using older display drivers but no luck. Iv unistalled fsx twice & no luck. I'm also running on a fresh install of vista. No virus or firewall software installed. vista's baby sitting features are disabled (UAC, Defender, etc....)I cant for the life of me figure out how to get thi to run correctly. Everything worked like a charm before the upgrade. Previous rig was an amd based system. Any suggestions would be welcome.Thanks JR

Hi JR (Jesse, I remember from another post :( ), Please put your full name per forum rules or add it to your signature, thanks.Going to need you to list your system specs, but the most likely reasons are there's just too much going on at once for your system to keep it all flowing smoothly. The other posibility is a corrupt install.What happens with the default Cesnna 172? The main thing is that even without FSDT's airports KJFK and especially KORD are 2 very taxing airports due to how big they are as well as the amount of autogen in the area. With KORD, and most likely using real time weather you probably have triple cloud layers happening and judging from your screenshot at least two to include an overcast and precipitation which is also a huge killer.List your specs please, but also try these tests.Make sure you reboot and let your system come to idle before launching FSX. Do not run anything else, especially any web browsers.1.) Try the default 172 with clear weather at either airport and note your fps at the gate.2.) Then do the same with clear weather but with the MD-11, also note your fps.The main things going on here is with such extreme weather, you also have an extreme aircraft and judging from the weather in this pic I am betting it's real world weather from Chichago haha. When at the gate you are also dealing with the fact that all the AI traffic are having the Jetways extending all at once and tons of other animations and CPU intensive operations happening. Clouds are what's called Facing sprites and them alone can hit a system hard. Flying from KORD with triple canopy weather is the benchmarks of all benchmarks if you ask me and probably one of the hardest fps hitting hubs in FS in the US of course. Both it and KJFK are also very close to water so a couple sliders that may also help in adjusting would of course be water down to 1x, ground traffic to minimum and if you have to decrease your complexity slider to stop the jetway action and baggage cars.

I have FSDT KJFK and KLAS on a very similar system, so I don't think it is a lag of his computer. Sounds like a permissions issue or something. Usually a re-install fixes those things.

Has anyone had any problems with the uiautomationcore.dll & vista64? I know its an issue with win7JR

I happen to be the police, AND I have both FSDT JFK and the MD-11, AND I might have an answer. Does that qualify??
