Saitek Yoke Base Dimensions?

Featured Replies

I am about "that close" to buying the Saitek Yoke and throttle for FSX...But, I can't find the actual dimensions of the base of the yoke...I need to determine if it will fit on my rather unusual shaped table...Could someone with a few minutes to spare measure the base of the yoke and post the dimensions? Also, does the yoke "rod" extend out of the base of the unit or is it completely enclosed? Thanks a lot...Steve in Kansas

Steve, The base is 10" deep by 11" wide by 4" thick. The yoke rod is enclosed in the case. I'm very happy with the Saitek yoke and Rudder pedals.

Hi stevei also own the Saitek Yoke and throttles and am very happy with them.i also have it clamped to a curved desk.and it's very secure.it has rubber pads which help to stop it moving.i also recommend the Switch panel and the autopilot panels as well..both are really good for the price. steve-O :(

Just to share my idea. I removed the top of the casing, drilled some holes in it and fitted it underneath my desk with screws, then screwed on the whole shabang. Did the same with throttle quads, they come with clamps, and the holes are already made :(

Steve,See my topic here on how I mounted the Saitek Yoke.http://forums1.avsim.net/index.php?showtopic=276398Jeff
What a terrific idea! I'd never thought of using toilet flanges and pvc pipe to build a pedestal... ;)
