Hi everybody,I just downloaded the J41 and installed it. There was no request for key input, so I assume that the plane will not work. I saw the thread with doing this via the task manager, but I cannot find the activation. Would be grat if some can tell where to find the activation.ThanksPeter Meinel

The task manager is suggested because the common problem is the key input box is hidden behind another box. If you are not seeing it in the Apps list in the task manager then the next thing you should do is go the the pmdg support web page and open a trouble ticket. Maybe you can get some help before the weekend if you are lucky.

Since you're using Windows 7, try using the Windows key + Tab. You should be able to cycle between windows. If not try just Alt+Tab. You can also try to just drag the window that's on top to the side. If you get a ding sound and it doesn't allow you to move it, then just hover your mouse over the app tab on your task bar and it should reveil all associated windows that the program has open and may then allow you to just click on.Hope this helps,

Thanks for the quick answer. Does this mean I have to reinstall, in my taskmanager I can only search for new tasks but not apps. I am pretty new to Windows7 too, so thatmight be my problem too. Thanks againPeter Meinel

Finally I made it. I did a complete new install of FSX installed the J41, loaded FSX, loaded J41, toggled through the windows -thanks for that help, Dan- and there was the key request window :( But I have to say to sell such a sophisticated product and then have the customer go through support forums just to find out on how to activate the product is a least questionable. Thanks again for the helpPeter Meinel

This doesn't happen to very many users, Peter, there is no way to anticipate who it happens too so there is information on how to work through this in the pmdg knowledge base. Maybe we should have sent you there instead of trying to help directly. You are welcome.

I hope there is no misunderstanding, I very much appreciate the help I get here. But I do not think that a hidden activation page just happens to me.Anyways now I am flying and I enjoy it very much.Peter Meinel

I had a problem seeing the window because I use full screen mode in XP and only select the final chosen aircraft once I am at the origin airport of choice... I couldn't see the activation window on selecting the JS41 because it was residing under FSX...I finally solved it by selecting the JS41 prior to going to my chosen origin airport... lo and behold the activation window displayed on top...Andrew
