Website like google maps with airport locations?

Featured Replies

Hey everyone.. I'm a noob to aviation in general so please don't flame me if this is a dumb question! Is there a website somewhere similar to google maps, but one that specifically shows every airport in the area and basic info on it (runway layout, elevation, code, etc?) I'd like to fly in some places in WI for example but I just don't know what airports to fly to... Thanks in advance!!

There actually is a Google Earth plugin that shows various airport locations. Try this: http://bbs.keyhole.com/ubb/ubbthreads.php?...ite_id=1#import

Thanks so much for that link, couldn't have asked for something better!

You can also use runwayfinder.com or skyvector.com It's real world charts, but you can scroll around and click on info.
