March 14, 201016 yr Hey everyone.. I'm a noob to aviation in general so please don't flame me if this is a dumb question! Is there a website somewhere similar to google maps, but one that specifically shows every airport in the area and basic info on it (runway layout, elevation, code, etc?) I'd like to fly in some places in WI for example but I just don't know what airports to fly to... Thanks in advance!!
March 14, 201016 yr There actually is a Google Earth plugin that shows various airport locations. March 15, 201016 yr You can also use runwayfinder.com or skyvector.com It's real world charts, but you can scroll around and click on info. - Red E8500 @ 4.1 | EVGA 275GTX (overclocked) | 2x2GB Mushkin Enhanced Redline @ 1066 | Samsung 24inch LCD @ 1920x1080 |
