I really wish UPS offered GPS tracking of their vans. I am waiting for the second half of my new computer build to arrive. This is the climax of months of research, browsing this forum, waiting for the tax return, so on and so forth. My older computer just can't hardly hack FSX with PMDG addons anymore, and I'm thinking this build will definitely help:Coolermaster Sniper Case, Corsair 750 W Power Supply, ASUS P7P55D EVO Motherboard, Core i7 860 2.8 Ghz Processor, Coolermaster V8 CPU Fan, GSkill 6 GB DDR3 Memory, BFG GTX 285 Graphics Card, Western Digital Velociraptor 150 GB HD (10,000 RPM), Samsung Spinpoint F3 1 TB HD (7,500 RPM), Lite-On DVD-RW (x2), Windows 7 64 Bit Pro.My main aim for the build is having a fast, cool system without having to get into liquid cooling, so the Sniper case plus the CM V8 CPU fan should do the trick.

Coolermaster have some pretty good coolers, I've got the v10 and was able to have an i7- 870 at 4.1GHz stable. FSX runs marvelous, no lagging!!! :(

Good luck with the new build Paul. The case looks like it will be very good for the airflow, which is of course one of the primary concerns. Having the PSU load on the bottom and having the top (ceiling) fan will work nice. I have a similar case and temps never exceed 50c on air cooling, even with 2 velociraptors and GTX295 & 260 heating things up. I have both a liquid and air cooled system and prefer the air cooled now that my liquid phase is over. Now the only thing to do while you wait, is look for a similar builds over clock. You should be able to 1 ghz or close more out of it which will greatly help fps.Oh yeah, I too with UPS/Fed Ex had GPS tracking of some sort haha. The technology is out there and years ago there was mention of them all doing it. I wonder if they stopped the idea since they thought that eager beavers like ourselves would try and chase them down for early delivery? I know I would :(Edit: Make sure the new rig isn't crammed in some computer desk nook and is out of any corners. That will help airflow allot.

I have the Sniper case - it's awesome
When I fired up this badboy and heard those fans whirl, man, I gotta tell ya...that rocked! I'm super pumped to see how well FSX performs. I The Corsair PSU is nearly silent, it's incredible. Windows installed in 15 minutes and I'm just going through and bringing everything else up to date. Then comes the FUN stuff, such as FSX and PMDG everything! So far everything is going well, fingers crossed!Dan: yeah, luckily work was busy so I was only thinking about the shipment every 10 seconds instead of constantly. My name is Paul, and I'm an addict.
