April 2, 201016 yr Hello,I apologize if this was covered in another post and I missed it. In the FSX General Settings under Air Traffic Control I have unchecked Show Message Log in ATC Menu, Auto Open ATC Window, and Use a Pilot Voice. However I am still hearing the FSX ATC ATIS and some traffic on approach and center control when I am using Radar Contact. I using the Radar Contact Box with the default keyboard key commands. Is there something else I can do to not hear MS ATC when using Radar Contact? Thanks,Mark

April 2, 201016 yr turn the volume down to 0 on the ms atc. don't uncheck the checkbox in fs. just make the volume 0Hi Jd,I take it you mean the "voice" in sound settings turning down to zero? I just want to make sure that is just the ATC voice and I am not turning down GPWS warnings or anything like that. I am using Radar Contact for the first time and I am very impressed with it, very realistic. Thanks for all of the work you put into that. Mark
April 2, 201016 yr In FS9 I have the in the Sound settings the ATC slider unchecked. If it says "Voice" in FSX this should be OK as well. My setting has not interfered with instrument sounds such as altitude countdowns from radio/radar altimeter triggered devices, GPWS, nor TCAS alerts. turn the volume down to 0 on the ms atc. don't uncheck the checkbox in fs. just make the volume 0Hi Jd,I take it you mean the "voice" in sound settings turning down to zero? April 3, 201016 yr Thanks guys,That worked great! Radar Contact has made my FSX experience more real. I downloaded the Meatwater voice packs and it's even better! April 19, 201016 yr Thanks guys,That worked great! Radar Contact has made my FSX experience more real. I downloaded the Meatwater voice packs and it's even better! Since I unchecked the voice box under the sound menu I no longer hear any MSATC.I love RC too, I rarely fly without it, I just wish there was a way to integrate it more tightly into the sim, I'm lazy and dislike the extrasetup time :( OH, and BTW, with all the hoopla over the "Meatwater" voice stuff I tried installing it, and YUCK, I uninstalled it almostimmediately, why do people think scratchy and ugly is realistic :), after all is said and done I still think the FSX builtin voices are themost realistic, there just needs to be more variation, but for fluid and real sounding MS really did a good job. I just hope RC5 can improve on it even more.Have an idea for a feature: seamless integration with online flying... I live on the west coast, work fulltime, and usually when I can usethe sim, VATSIM or IVAO are pretty dead, what I think would be cool is an artificial ATC like RC that would automatically come into playwhen there are no live controllers. Don't know how to make that work, but if you did it I'm sure it'd be a hit!!Keep up the great work guys! Jack F. Vogel, Delta Virtual Airlines
