June 3, 201016 yr Hi Shane. If my 3000000000 is 3GB wouldn't your 104857600 be just over 1GB and not 100MB like you have there?Your 300000000 has 9 digits and 104857600 is 8 digits long. So you have 30 X a higher number. Roger See my specs in my profile

This figure is in bytes. 3 billion bytes would be 3GB. My number of 104857600 is in bytes, which translates to 100MB. Shane Gavin
June 3, 201016 yr I had a similar problem initially. I started trying tweaks to the cfg... no go.What fixed it?Turn off your cpu hyperthreading in your bios and test with a clean cfg.Now I have great fsx performance with no tweaks except for highmemfix (which I've never tested without) and the hideinfo text.

June 4, 201016 yr Commercial Member I think I may be on some funny stuff or something but doesn't 1 0 4 8 5 7 6 0 0 have 9 digits as well? The original 3000000000 has 10 digits (unlike the later typo), 104857600 has 9, but the conclusion about the former being 30x bigger than the latter was pretty close. ;-)Pete Win10: 22H2 19045.2728 CPU: 9900KS at 5.5GHz Memory: 32Gb at 3800 MHz.
