Hi all, I suppose the short answer to this problem is forget the FS9 737ng and wait for the FSX version, the trouble is i like the FS9 aircraft despite its age. Recently i upgraded to Windows 7 home edition 64bit and installed the 600/700 everything 100% flies like a dream. I then installed the 800/900 with the model update again everything ok, except for the FMC popup. When i press the numeric key no. 0 the number 8 appears on the S/pad, press 8 and the 5 appears on the S/pad and so on. I tried changing the DPI size to 100% = 96 but this made no difference. I had been on the 125% DPI. I briefly searched the forum but could not find a similar problem posted. Could someone please resolve this nuisance. many thanks. richard welsh.

I have the same thing.I notice you mention re-sizing the window in your heading, but not in your question. Resizing the FMC window by stretching it vertically solves this problem for me. When you upgraded to W7 did you get a new monitor with a different aspect ratio by any chance ?Peter

If you are displaying anything other than 4:3 on your monitor then you do have to resize the FMC popup, this comes up about once a month so there should be a lot of threads on this here. I think it is included in the 737 FAQ as well.

Hello Peter, thanks for reply, i did get a new monitor 25" resolution 1920+1080, not sufficiently qualified to talk about aspect ratios, but will try your suggestion by stretching it vertically. richard welsh

Hi all, sorry to raise this question again, I have been unable to use 800/900 model since original post and I am getting very frustrated as the 800/900 makes all the difference to the 600/700. I have tried the answers given by those who replied but I am still unable to get full use of the 800/900 FMC popup problem as stated above. I am not competant at delving into the mysteries of my PC and I am hoping that someone who has not read this topic before has a simple remedy. Please put me out of my misery and let me use the 800/900. richard welsh.

Move your mouse cursor over the edge of the FMC so to bring up the double headed arrow cursor. Once that shows, left click and drag the cursor down to enlarge the FMC. That will help you with entering the right digits in the FMC. If not,  drag the edge of the FMC down further until it works correctly.
