June 2, 201016 yr ******* Alture has really done a great service to the flight sim community by providing all these great Tweaks. As an avid simmer, I want to take advantage of these fixes on my system, which is low end to mid range and would benefit from these changes to the fsx.cfg.However, after following 30 or more different threads on AVSIM, plus referring to the "pinned" "BP=0 Conclusions" at the beginning of the FSX forum, I'm a little confused as this valuable information seems to be scattered all over the forum because of new questions being asked dailyI know ******* has put in over a year of his time to understanding and developing this information, and has very diligently responded to many questions that have been asked of him. So what I would like to suggest, is that he update the following to reflect these changes:1) Update the "BP=0 Conclusions" at the top of the FSX forum?2) Update his two fsx.cfg files for a high and low end systems?3) Where there are differences among Win XP, Vista, and Win 7, add this information?4) I happen to be running WinXP using the 32GB switch, are there any known issues doing these tweaks for this memory workaround (i.e., 32 bit versus 64 bit)?5) Add anything else that may be importantNote: Ideally this consolidation of information would be placed in a permanent location on AVSIM forum. The reason I bring this up, is that I recently read on a thread that HIMEMFIX=1 doesn't benefit Win XP users at all, and this code may only apply to Vista or Win7 users. Although ******* recommends not using nHancer for Nvidia cards, it appears some people have no problem using this tool if they want to retain excellent AA. I have also noticed other contradictions reading through all these threads on this topic. Now, I know this is a lot to ask of *******, and I'm sure he is so busy he doesn't even get to fly much, but I thought I would ask anyway, as it will require many of us to read all thru these threads and then figure out what steps are valid and those that are not.It would be a big help if this were possible!Bill Clark Windows 10 Pro, Ver 21H2 CPU I5-8600K 5.0GHz, GPU Nvidia RTX 3090 VRAM 24GB Gigabyte Z370 Gaming 7, 2TB M2.NVMe, RAM 32GB

June 3, 201016 yr It would be a big help if this were possible!Hi Bill,There is something in the works ;) in the form of a document. I can update you later during the week, right now (specially for the next 3-4 weeks) I'll be really really swamped with work (not FSX related) but the real one ;)
June 3, 201016 yr Commercial Member Hi, yes that would be great. I have considered trying these out but have been put off by trying to wade through 50 plus pages of evolving solutions and changes in the thread (s) .It would make real sense to post the latest, concise, agreed concensus of settings and their efects etc so new tweakers can try them see how they go.It would also make sure the tweaks are applied correctly and cut down on the inevitable rash of posts when people run into problems...Cheers, Mark
June 3, 201016 yr I still don't understand what you loose with using NHancer? Do you get poorer performance? Or is just entirely the same as using CP, absolutely no difference? Tomaz Drnovsek My FSX Videos My AVSIM Gallery
