June 6, 201016 yr Hi, as in topic title I would like to know who does have the best coverage for Europe, knowing for the U.S. Vatsim beats IVAO without any fight. The best coverage is not only intended in terms of quantity of ATCs, because having only ground or tower controllers is not the best option for me, but it is stated for a complete coverage (from ground to center).Anyone of you that flight regurarly with both networks please give a response. Many times in the past I flew from the departure airport to the arrival one without any ATC coverage on Vatsim and need to know if it is convenient to use IVAO while flying in Europe or in other parts of the World, except for the States. Thanks, bye.RRP.S.: I have also proposed you a poll... Capt. RICCARDO RIGHETTIProud customer of the PMDG 737NGX and PMDG 777X (wating for next... June 6, 201016 yr For South America, I'd definitely go for IVAO. Vatsim doesn't work that well over here, not enough ATC.As for Europe (except maybe the UK), I'd also go for IVAO. IVAO coverage on Spain is remarkable. Ed OcampoStaff ReviewerAVSIM Online[email protected]Fly DC Jets
June 20, 201015 yr Author Hi guys, thanks for your votes so far. Coverage in Europe seems to be better on IVAO. In these three days I flew in Europe using VATSIM network but except for today I had very poor coverage. At the same time I checked by IVAO Eye and saw a broader coverage for that network.I think I will switch soon to that network for my european flights. Another question: am I use FSInn in place of I-Vap?Thanks, bye.RR Capt. RICCARDO RIGHETTIProud customer of the PMDG 737NGX and PMDG 777X (wating for next... June 20, 201015 yr IVAO originally was part of VATSIM's predecessor SATCO as its European division, then broke out on their own.It seems that European void has never been able to be filled be VATSIM, and IVAO has never been able to make any real dentin the US.Though VATSIM seems to have good coverage in Germany and the UK, outside of that its hard to find good regular European coverage on VATSIM.Maybe one of these days the two organizations will find a way to fill those voids under one organzation, but it seems doubtfull.Regards.Ernie.
June 20, 201015 yr Though VATSIM seems to have good coverage in Germany and the UK, outside of that its hard to find good regular European coverage on VATSIM.Poland and Austria are covered, at least partially, almost every day. There is also frequent ATC at Amsterdam, Moscow, Istanbul, and Athens airports.
June 20, 201015 yr I haven't compared the two networks in quite some time, but my impression back then was that in Europe IVAO used to have mostly positions like tower and app controlled while VATSIM had those (but not as many) as well as Radar/Control. IVAO also was very much stronger in south Europe than Vatsim. Personally I mainly out of Germany to the UK, Austria, the Netherlands or Scandinavia and the coverage in those countries is usually very good (on Vatsim). February 1, 201214 yr i use vatsim. i think two of them same for online pilots. But there is a other speculation that there is etnic problems at vatsim.so you stucked in a region, and some some of supervisors gona make partisan for their friends and some of supervisor gonna kill pilots as guardin so some of supervisors are not helpful. also one day i forced land out by a pilot via a supervisor who is friend with him. I don t want to give his name
