June 23, 201015 yr Anybody using FSPS - MULTICORE ENVIRONMENT? If so ,do you get the same effect without the program , if you were to just press control alt delete and under task manager just manually(set affinity) change the settings in the processes tab ?I tired that method and saw no difference in sim preformance.

It allows you to set priority and affinity in task manager and it will save your changes. Shane Gavin

Also, I assign all other FSX related programs to core0 and I have FSX and TrackIR set to high priority. I can't say exactly what the performance impact is (except for eliminating TrackIR stutters) but it is definitely a part of the overall performance improvement to FSX. Shane Gavin
