July 15, 201015 yr Though FS11 would sound appeasing, I'll stick with FSX. Particularly because FSX's number of addons will soon be as much as FS9 would be today. July 15, 201015 yr Well it's no big surprise a Train sim would be first. After all the primary founders were from that market. When you think about it it is only right that they are. FSX is 4 years old, Train Simulator fans have been waiting since 2001 for only it's second version, and it's still going strong. They do have 2 current competing products though Tainz and Railworks both don't have the depth that MSTS has. The second MSTS 2 had the promise of using the FSX engine, and for the first time being able to handle routes across continent, before Aces closure. As former Microsoft/ACES employees they'll have to be prepared to demonstrate that they're not using any of Microsoft's proprietary information in either Train Sim or Flight Sim. That may encourage them to consider alternatrives, Gerry Howard
