August 19, 201015 yr I noticed for a long time that the zoom function (+ and - keys) does not always work, but after cycling a view using 's' or 'shift s' makes it work again. I recently found the cause: the ATC window! After pressing the ~ key to open or close the ATC window, the zoom function does not work anymore!Has anyone found a solution? Thanks!

That will put the focus back on the cockpit and you will be able to zoom in and out as usual even while communicating with ATC..Experiment with this - you you find it is easy to maintain "focus". EDIT ADDED: I forgot to add that you probably should also have your "Pause on Task Switch" option unchecked in your Settings/General dialogue.
August 19, 201015 yr Author Hi David, clicking outside the ATC window indeed fixes the issue. I also unchecked the 'pause on task' checkbox, but that did not make any difference...
August 19, 201015 yr Clicking anywhere on the screen outside the ATC window is the only way as far as I know. Naif Almazroa My Youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/Youmou0205
August 20, 201015 yr You can also hit the backspace key, though that will reset the zoom, to move the focus to the main window.regards,Joe The best gift you can give your children is your time.
