August 20, 201015 yr I noticed that the "BP = 0 Conclusions" is no longer "pinned" to the top of the FSX forum.A couple of months ago, on one of the many threads ******* Altuve posted or participated in, I asked then that he summarize all the new stuff that had been learned since posting his original write-up on April 7, 2010. At the time, he was busy on a work project that prohibited him from doing this.As someone who followed and collected all the "threads" about this topic (my last count is around 40 threads), I thought I would ask ******* again if he might want to update his original "BP=0 Conclusions" thread now that the knowledge base has expanded a bit, and hopefully his workload at work is no longer quite so hectic.I know this is probably a huge request to make, and if not possible given his work load and other activities, I won't feel to bad as he has to attend to his life like the rest of us.However, it would be a great service to all of us if this could be done. Pouring thru all these threads will be difficult for me as I just completed building a new system, and would like to apply these "tweaks" to maximize my systems performance. I'm sure this is true for many who are not as savvy as ******* is in regards to the "deep inner workings" of the FSX.cfg file and other modules. So I thought I would ask one more time and I really appreciate what has been done so far.Bill Clark Windows 10 Pro, Ver 21H2 CPU I5-8600K 5.0GHz, GPU Nvidia RTX 3090 VRAM 24GB Gigabyte Z370 Gaming 7, 2TB M2.NVMe, RAM 32GB

August 21, 201015 yr Author Thanks David,Looks like a good place to put an item like this....a tutorial section will be a welcome addition to AVSIM.In looking at the "BP=0 Conclusion" in the Tutorial section, it appears that the section has remained unchanged since April 7th, unless it has been updated and the date wasn't changed to reflect updating the original. I don't remember what the original April 7th pinned message looked like in its entirety? How can I best communicate my message above to ******* about updating a ton of information scattered around many previous threads?Bill Clark Windows 10 Pro, Ver 21H2 CPU I5-8600K 5.0GHz, GPU Nvidia RTX 3090 VRAM 24GB Gigabyte Z370 Gaming 7, 2TB M2.NVMe, RAM 32GB

I mean, not a priority right now, as the information is already out there but I agree that an updated document is neccesary.
August 21, 201015 yr Author *******,That would be great, especially for those of us not as gifted at the inner workings of FSX and Windows. The sim community, me included, really appreciates the contributions you have made to "wringing" the last bit of performance out of FSX.I can't imagine how many hours that must have taken? Thanks for your efforts,Bill Clark Windows 10 Pro, Ver 21H2 CPU I5-8600K 5.0GHz, GPU Nvidia RTX 3090 VRAM 24GB Gigabyte Z370 Gaming 7, 2TB M2.NVMe, RAM 32GB
