August 22, 201015 yr i would like to fix that ???!!!!!!!no weelturning in the front....and no cargo openingPMDG do something !Maik from switzerland
August 22, 201015 yr For the nosewheel make sure you have autorudder turned off.As for the cargo door, how long are you waiting to see if the door opens? It can take a few seconds to happen. Make sure you have EXT 1 is on, and EXT 2 as avail. Also make sure the key you've mapped to the cargo door is not mapped to anything else. Try to assign a different key if you aren't sure.
August 22, 201015 yr Author I have done all....it dont work.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
August 22, 201015 yr Same problem. After switch back to Freighter version in to manager, when selecting the freighter in preview appear with main landing gear extracted and after loading the aircraft crash on the ground  I have sent a ticket to support but the answers are referred to administrator rights :Talking Ear Off: Cristiano Cristiano Bonfiglioli
August 22, 201015 yr I have posted this problem as soon as the LCF came out. Like others I'm 200% sure I did everything like the manual explained. It's not that difficult. I run the sim and the config manager with admin rights. I assigned a key not used before. APU and external pwr 1 and 2 oke. No result. The eicas is indicating that the tail is open, but there's no animation of this.I would like to have a post from PMDG about this. Thanks Martin Pampiermole

August 22, 201015 yr Neither of the people asking for help in this topic signed their full names and one was extremely rude with about forty exclamation marks demanding help.Guys, aren't we all mature people here who understand sometimes not everything works 100% right away. I don't know why the tail isn't opening on your airplane but to come here and yell (using so many exclamation points is the same as yelling) demading for support is childish. If you followed all the instructions properly, have EXT PWR1 set to "on" and EXT PWR2 set to "avail" and your keystroke mapped correctly, the tail will swing open. I haven't flown the LCF yet, but I have played with the loading and unloading, it's really neat.Configure the LCF the same way you would configure the 747-400F to open the nose door.As for all the cargo loading animations, follow the instructions.Good luck and maybe next time ask for help instead of demanding it. Also try to obey the forum rules, without signing your full name as is required here, you will not get help.Jeff Calder Jeff Calder
August 22, 201015 yr Gents,If you've set things up correctly, as Jeff suggests, and the tail still doesn't swing, try uninstalling and reinstalling the LCF. August 22, 201015 yr I agree with Jeff on all his points.I imagine PMDG are of course looking into it but would need to reproduce the issue before they can really do much troubleshooting. It looks like the beta testers had no problems so it may just be certain systems. I doubt this though and would put my money on other possibilities. I have never had any problems since after I install FSX I take about 30 minutes or so and go into controls and go delete crazy. FSX has an insane amount of mapped keys, and if your like me and have 4 or 5 usb devices (controllers) it can take a while to clear. Of course all we're talking about is the keyboard keys but just as a triple check and easy way to do so; go into FSX's controls and double click on anything at all, such as gear down and Set what ever key combonation you plane to use. If it say "This key or button is available" then you should be all set. Whenever I have issues like this setting PMDG door commands this what I do.I don't know exactly how PMDG's apps know what FSX already has as controls, but something else to keep in mind is if it is scanning the controls (Standard.xml in your C:\Users\Dan(your name)\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX\Controls folder) then some times when programming buttons you may see something not used in the control settings GUI but have it in your xml. The reason for this is many times if you unplug and replug in a usb controller while FSX is running it often will create a new entry. This can and has happened also with driver changes. Right click this xml and choose "Edit". You just might notice multiple entries for the same device. Just make sure you don't delete anything that you aren't sure of. There should be two entries for each controller since they have two different sets of code per.Hope this helps (and makes sense for that matter). i9 10920x @ 4.8 ~ MSI Creator x299 ~ 256 Gb 3600 G.Skill Trident Z Royal ~ EVGA RTX 3090ti ~ Sim drive = M.2 2-TB ~ OS drive = M.2 is 512-gb ~ 5 other Samsung Pro/Evo mix SSD's ~ EVGA 1600w ~ Win 10 Pro Dan Prunier
