Can someone tell me if the default C172 should have both taxi & landing lights. I have landing light but no taxi light. Thanks.

Its supposed to but it doesnt. If you look at the lights on the left wing, you will see there are 2, one is taxi, 2 on is landing, but they dont work correctly.

It has a taxi light switch but I've never found the taxi lights.

The taxi light switch is there just for procedural purposes. It is not simulated, even if you change the aircraft.cfg file for that (in the [lights] section).By the way, the taxi light problem can be found in other planes as well (B738, for example).

ACES never added the required taxi light attachpoint polygons to the exterior FSX model(s).

Thanks to all for the answers. Just have to use the landing lights for taxing and be cursed at by the blinded!
