Bjote,I have been reading your posts recently, based on my system specss in the signature what tweaks would you suggest for me to run FSX more stable? Should I apply a larger buffer pool size than the default one? BTW, what is Vsynch? Thanks!

I thought this was a sticky at some point but then it went away. Can someone make it a sticky again?

I thought so, too, Jeff. There are two or three of these very important "discovery" posts that could be stickied. Maybe there isn't a forum title where this could be done. "Hints & Tricks", - maybe, but it's not a hint nor a tip, is it, and that forum had hardly a hint or a tip, just questions, like "How do I do this, or that"? Maybe we need a "How-To" FSX sub-forum.... Hmmm? I can see the nVidia Inspector setup (By NickN, and also by Ryan Maziarz (Tabs, of PMDG) being in there, plus Bojote's stuff. There's endless "how-To's on the "OOM issue": How-To diagnose and repair a LOGBOOK.BIN.. How-To repair FSX, Rebuild FSX, uninstall and re-install FSX: How-To change the viewpoint in the cockpit: How-To get rid of reflections in the cockpit: Error 1722, and others... How-To change the speed of the ground traffic: How-To add scenery when using Win7: BP=0 Conclusions.. and so on. What a great idea!

Right, a forum with just verified "tweaks" for a lack of a better term - mostly stuff from Nick and *******. I don't think, however, people should be able to post in the threads. They should just be a description of the tweak. The testing and the questions should be handled in the regular forum.I would point more people to this nuggets of gold on other forms if I had a reliable link or place to point them to. Here, most people know about them but at FS.com and other sites, there are a lot of people in the dark. Not sure why that is the case but it is reality.
