August 30, 200322 yr I am looking for sound files that would go with the 737-300 and -400 models specifically. (I have the -200 series by Careri and the -800 series by somebody else.) August 31, 200322 yr Hey, Jonathan! Can you believe I screwed up? That file name is for a B737 panel by Bruce Benaway. The sound file is called 737sound.zip, and I got it from www.flightsim.com.Sorry for the screw up!Darrell
August 31, 200322 yr i got this file for the 737 from MARK GOVERNALI over at the other forum it is truly superd, however every 5 mins or so there is a "takeoff checklist" talk come on from the pilots, i did a flight from YMML to YSSY and it came on all the time, anyone know why? I7-10700F RTX 3070 32 Gig Ram
August 31, 200322 yr Author Darrell:I tried to d/l the file-I think it's 24MB but after 17MB, my download accelerator and manager packed in and I could not download any further, neither then, nor later.I looked in the view function and it seems to be the JT8D engines. I would actually like to get the earlier CFM-56 engine sounds for the 737-300 and -400 models. I thought about using my A320 sounds which are super, and are CFM-based, but I am not sure how faithful they are for the Boeing 737-300 and -400 series since they are a different CFM-56 type.Ah, the challenges of FS are endless.....!Thanks anyway.JS Jonathan Sacks Dell XPS Gen 4, Pentium IV Northwood extreme 3.8Ghz, 3Ghz RAM, eVGA 7900 GTO, 12 GoFlight modules plus MCP-PRO AP and EFIS, GF pedestal, CH rudder pedals, CH throttle quadrant, 42" LG LED, 24" DELL LCD, Windows XP, FS2004, FSUIPC 3.96 FS Autostart 1.1 (Build 11), FS Navigator 4.6, UT, FE, GE, REX, PMDG, Level-D, PSS, etc.
