I asked them if they'd do a new version of the 737-200, and from what I can remember they said something along the lines of "no". You can always ask them again, of course. Perhaps they reconsidered in the time being.

Thank's Benjamin its sad they wouldn't consider a new version of the 737-200. but since some time has past, I guess I can ask them if they have reconsidered.

Buy the Captain Sim 707. Similar systems with one fewer cockpit windows. Folks on the forums are saying good things about it. Sadly, according to the DF forums the DF DC8 is dead.

I can't speak for Aerosim's DC-8 but their L-1011 ports over nicely to FSX, with VC intact, all guages working.

Does not look like it will be released - no updates, previews. No news at all.
Well, not yet. They're still pretty much focusing on the 727 updates for FSX, according to Paul Golding and co. If only I had some Gmax or FSDS knowledge by know I would have made myself a DC-8 by now! Dave.
You say "refuses" as if it's weird and completely incomprehensible why they wouldn't support such a port-over. Please explain to me why you think they should support these port-overs? They are not official Aerosim-made port-overs, they have nothing to do with them in any way whatsoever, why would they therefore support them? There is absolutely no reason for them to do so.
Of course they won't support these. These are specifically made by third party personnel outside of Aerosim. I didn't say anything about asking them to support FS9 portovers. Dave.

Yes, which is why I was so surprised you had typed "refuses"in bold letters, making it seem as if you found it very weird that they wouldn't support these port-overs.The CS707 isn't really a substitute for the DC-8 in my book. Why? Because the DC-8 is still used a lot more than the 707, mainly with cargo airlines. (By the way, the CS707 is an absolutely great aircraft, beautiful and very functional. I have it and I'm very pleased. However, I don't fly it often because of the reason I gave earlier)

Well said. I don´t fly much with the airliners, and wouldn´t buy a 707. But IF someone releases a DC-8 cargo version (with a good vc) for FSX I might take that to my hangar.
