October 13, 201015 yr Hi,I will have to setup FSX on new PC. I have Deluxe version so no SP1 & 2 included. If I want to setup with acceleration, do I have to first instal FSX + Acceleration or FSX + SP1 & 2 and then Acceleration? Any ideas are much appreciated! Tom Link

October 13, 201015 yr Install FSX to it's own disk drive, if possible. If not, install to C:\Games\... and not C:\Program Files. Then you can leave UAC on without any problems.Start FSX in default flight and then shut it down.Install Acceleration. SP1 and SP2 are included.I would install FSLimiter next.Have funDave
October 13, 201015 yr Author Thanks. I will install it outside Program files. Limiter is no go for me as will have no issues with FPS :) Tom Link
October 13, 201015 yr Install FSX in a separate drive. Preferably a 300gb velociraptor. Then start FSX and activate it. Acceleration will not install if FSX is not activated. After FSX loads, exit FSX. Then install Acceleration. Start fsx and activate acceleration. You're done! MSFS

October 13, 201015 yr Moderator In that case - agfter you install Acceleration you will be set with SP1 & sp2 installed as well. RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160
