Anyone notice any improvement in fsx? Most of the comments are solid, but nothing regarding FSX.

Might give them a try tomorrow, just installed 260.89 and rebuilt my .cfg yesterday LOL.I read one day we'll be able to install right over top of the existing drivers much like we do with service packs now.

Robert, My understanding is that you can now install directly over the previous version with these new drivers. You also have the option of doing a clean install if you want.

Thanks Mike, old habits are hard to die, I'm afraid that it may take me a while to install straight over top of the old file. I guess the worst that could happen is that I have to do a complete reinstall of the nVidia driver, not that bad really.Thanks for the reply.

When I installed the 260.89's Monday night, I opted for the clean install. Last night I installed the 260.99's directly over them. I haven't had a chance to try them yet to see if there's any problems.

For some reason, the .89s and .99s require me to set the driver ansio setting to app controlled.  Otherwise it is at 16x and causes CTD's.  Also, these drivers are very sensitive to the game AA setting   Anything over 8s combined causes a jittery, blurry situation on a 460GTX.Probably discovering a weakness in the GPU. Will buy the 580 when the first good driver for it comes out..jja

I compared very well the "older" 258.96 and the new 260.99 drivers, I see no performance difference (<2% difference), it may be that it fixes some alt+tab issue, though I had no issue with 258.96...As for reported blurries - I see NO difference in picture quality between these two. I think it was Mitch who said water looks better... again - no difference, at all. I took couple of screenshots too and compared them.
