Ok, I just purchased the J41, installed on my Win Xp pro pc, and when I load the J41 I get this in the VC (see attachment). Anybody know what is going on? I have everything configured in my display settings according to the manual.

Check your Aircraft.cfg and look for duplicate camera views. I see the windscreen is black, is there an issue with that as well?

Your computer is not displaying transparency properly. By any chance, have you altered the bitmaps in any way? Is this a user-created livery? If not, this is certainly a system specific problem. Try updating your display drivers.

Oops, sorry Ryan, I forgot to post my name. Anyway, I had just reinstalled FSX, installed SP1 & SP2. The problem arose because I forgot to restart FSX in between installing Sp1 and Sp2 so the .cfg files could configure. I was in a hurry. That caused the screen problem with the J41 when I installed it.Jeff Linville

Jeff the best way to post Your name is via signature in forum options. This way You can also easily remove it from all Your post when You decide to.

Ok thanks, yeah it's important for the sim to get initialized before you install each patch.
