Looks pretty good to me. I just visited San Diego and had given my wife a Flight Simulator tour of the area before we went there. Had to tell her about the missing bridge....now she will be able to see it in FS as she did while we were there....please upload it...thanks.

Yes! I love to fly the San Diego area, and so does my grandson, he's a Seaworld fan, and even at six years of age he notices detail.

Yes, absolutely! It looks great! I live near the Chesapeake Bay Bridga and FS2004 left it out also!! What a bummer! It would be nice to have someone create that bridge also.Keep up the good work!Airbus

Anyone remember having to take the ferry across to Coronado before the bridge? I did that as a small boy when my Dad was in the Navy and we lived there-used to be very exciting!http://mywebpages.comcast.net/geofa/pages/Geofdog2.jpg

Great job Robert; Yes, please, and thank you is all I have to say.

Yes please bring on the bridge. It's not SD without the bridge.Took the ferry across from Downtown in Feb of 1999, going to the Del...Absolute great ferry ride, and the scenery in SD is without a doubt, the absolute greatest. Always awed at the approach into SD via rny 27. Out of Phoenix I usually sit on the right side of the aircraft, so that I can see the aerospasce museum in Balboa park, when we go over it at about 800 ft. The last time we went in there in 1999, for some reason I guess an aircraft didn't exit the rnwy fast enough and we did a go around to the left and what a view it was.....Fantastic. Got two approaches for the price of one..Happy flying

>Here's a pic of my progress. I have a lot of things I want to>add, but I could work on it for a while. Is there enough>interest out here to upload what I have so far?>>http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/43345.jpg>>Thanks for looking,>>RobertI live in Moncks Corner just north of Charleston, South Carolina. We too have a bridge or two that have played a major role in the area history.I was stationed in San Diego for a while and would love to add your bridge to my computer. Thanks and I wish you the best.Back-Pocket

Bridges are such an amazing piece of human art work. Any bridge especially one as beautiful as the San Diego-Coronado Bridge is a great addition to any city and the FS World. Many pilots use bridges as visual flying points. Your work will be enjoyed by many. Upload the bridge away!

Nice work. On the chance that you might want to compare (set-up) your work with the Southern CA mega-scenery I am attaching three pics of bridge with this program. One is at 2000 feet, Two at 6000 feet and 3 at 500 feet. The bridge appears from plan view as it is seen in satellite pics. The other views show no altitude at all. I have lived in SD for 70 plus years so remember the ferries and water taxis before the bridge. The bridge was built during the reign of Governor Pat Brown and was not very popular in the beginning. It was known then as "Browns last erection"...

Awesome job - it looks great... How are you at doing submarines? ;') I was stationed at the Sub Base on Point Loma for 4 years - also missing... Gotta love San Diego... Keep up the good work...Thanks,Scott

Please upload it, man!! :-hah That's some really beautiful work you've done there :9 .... My best & loveliest memories in the USA were in San Diego, my most favorite US city.... I remember the runway 27 approach over the Aerospace Museum like it was yesterday!! :D And Sea World, The Stephen Birch Marine Museum & Aquarium, Belmont Park, the beaches, the malls, the cinemas.... AAAAAAAHH DAMMIT, I WANNA GO BACK TO SAN DIEGO NOW!! :-lol :-lolPlease do me a favor: Make the bridge landable, in other words I want you to enable landing & taking off from the bridge, plus the ability to taxi onto and taxi out of the bridge on both ends of it.... That will bring a lotta fun into flying in the San Diego area, so why not do it? :) I hope you accept my request. Thanks in advance,

Scott-The bridge is just part of my mission to improve the harbor. I would like to put the subs where they belong, along with the other navy ships. As a side note, I will soon be working at the base supporting sub repairs. Thanks for the interest!Robert

I'm certainly looking forward to downloading the Coronado Bridge. It's just hard to understand why so many significant bridges that were in FS2002 are now missing from FS2004.Thanks,
