Also what OS are you using? If you're using anything other than a 64bit OS, 4GB is the max you'll be able to get any performance gain from. In fact, doubt you'll see any performance gain from FSX with additional memory anyway since it's CPU reliant. November 6, 201015 yr A fast hard drive helps. I use a 10,000 rpm model that reduces the latency time to load scenery. A lot depends on the nature of the stutter, simply moving the dials towards the left helps more than anything else. Dan Downs KCRP
