If you can manage to pull off having the lighting effect toned down when looking from behind the aircraft on an external view, where the wing would effectively make the light pretty much invisible (which is the downside of Shockwave's 3D light effect, in that it doesn't manage that especially well), then you'll be onto a winner. Of course when faffing about with the FSX particle effects to do that, it's easier said than done, so I certainly wish you luck with it.Al

Chock I think I came pretty close with my variant of A2A lightshttp://a2asimulations.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=13775&p=128355#p128355

I always applaud to private efforts but you currently have to check the links given. Seems like something mixed them up.The should look like this http://www.idesigninspiration.com/fsxscreenshots/hawk_eyes_05.jpgNice work there so far. The only thing that holds me back from any 3D lights so far is the glowing look even at the brightest daylight.
Yeah sorry about that last night when I posted the forum kept saying it was busy so I didn't get a chance to fix it. Below is what I meant to have.I've been working on developing my own 3d lights for FSX, what'ya think?hawk_eyes_05.jpghawk_eyes_06.jpgn85aj_06.jpgn85aj_03.jpghawk_eyes_04.jpghawk_eyes_01.jpg

Be mindful, if any of the coding or shaping of the effect(s) was made from the stock Shockwave/A2A lights, it cannot legally be distributed in any form other than to owners of the original package. A company of whom I will not disclose offered an altered version of the A2A lights as their own standalone package and got caught by myself.Regardless, they look pretty good mate.-Cody

I'm 90% positive that the work is all done by hawker, without copying any payware software. I think that is the reason hawker is creating his own 3d lights, as he is capable to create them and doesnt want to spend money.

Then there should be no issue. I'm sure many would love to have it and they indeed look wonderful.

Yes, I did code and create these effects myself, and there are not any copied or modified files from the Shockwave lights by any means.ThanksAmos

They look fantastic. Good job. I love the particle effect towards the front.
